and his play on words impossible to translate between the adjective “earnest” (serious, reliable or honest) and the proper name “Ernest” which in English have the same pronunciation.

Well … to the wise … a few words.

Se avessi saputo che il mio post di ieri avrebbe creato tutta questa polemica…. credetemi ci avrei pensato bene… e avrei spiegato meglio la mia lettera aperta.

e il suo gioco di parole impossibili da tradurre fra l’aggettivo “earnest” (serio, affidabile od onesto) ed il nome proprio “Ernest” che in inglese hanno la stessa pronuncia.

Bene… a buon intenditor… poche parole.

Si yo hubiera sabido que mi entrada de ayer habría creado toda esta polémica …. créanme que lo hubiera pensado muy bien … y hubiera explicado  mejor mi carta abierta.

y su juego de palabras imposible de traducir entre el adjetivo “Ernest” (serio, confiable y honesto) y el nombre propio “Ernest”, que en Inglés tienen la misma pronunciación.
