Strutture singolari, colori vividi e proporzioni sofisticate sono ciò che di queste creazioni salta subito all'occhio.
Ma il concept della collezione Le napoletane è ben più profondo, radicato nella tradizione e in dettagli antichissimi e senza tempo, che da sempre hanno contraddistinto costume e folklore all'interno del nostro paese.
E' così che la giovane designer
Carolina Cuccurullo, formatasi alla St. Martins University di Londra e titolare di numerose esperienze presso le grandi maisons: Miu Miu, Prada, Haider Ackermann e Kiton - per citarne alcune- muove i suoi primi passi nell'impero della moda.
Una forte ed impetuosa identità partenopea infatti, esplode nelle sue creazioni, che traggono ispirazione proprio dalla consuetudine delle giornate trascorse nei vasci di Bagnoli, "Un’esperienza che toglie il fiato, si rivela agli occhi di chi è nato per l’arte e non può fare a meno di seguirla perché sa quanto questa manifestazione sia propiziatoria".
E' così che immagina la donna delle sue creazioni:
"Eccola, la vedo, abbraccia il suo sogno e tira fuori da un cassettone stoffe fiorate, lenzuola, sete antiche e cotoni e con l’impeto di chi ha gran fretta crea un abito, perfetto nelle proporzioni e nelle forme ma pieno di errori e cuciture grossolane.
La sua energia esplode in un gesto creativo e speranza di vita.
Un tentativo forte per delineare la bellezza e scappare dallo squallore fetido del suo quartiere. Indossa un abito che racconta questo mistero,

La collezione, frutto di un'attentissima ricerca estetica, ma anche interiore, è realizzata con l'utilizzo di sete italiane Taroni e da cotoni tipici napoletani, mentre i ricami sono progettati dalla stilista ed elaborati dal London Embroidery Studio.
Essa si sviluppa per mezzo dell'osservazione di dettagli quotidiani e senza tempo, come quelli ravvisati nella realtà napoletana, una città "a suo modo" che non tutti conoscono effettivamente.
Il destino infatti, ha decretato per la capitale dell'antico Regno, una duplice sorte: ricca del suo passato e dei suoi fasti, rimane per molti oscura ed inavvicinabile.
Ed è proprio da qui che muove la scommessa che Carolina intende lanciare, stravolgendo il concetto di mercato luxury e partendo dalle proprie origini e rendendo grazie alla culla e sorgente della sua creatività, "dove tutto ebbe inizio".
