A me le righe sono sempre piaciute, soprattutto quelle piccole e quelle marinare che ho sempre trovato perfette per il periodo di inizio estate: casual ma bon ton quanto basta. Ma quando quest'anno sono usciti tutti quei capi con le righe optical in bianco e nero non è che mi abbiano fatto subito impazzire, le ho etichettate subito come troppo vistose e impegantive.
Poi qualche giorno fa da Zara ho notato un mini dress a trapezio a maxi righe B&W e, anche se dubitavo che quella fantasia potesse starmi bene, l'ho provato: sorprendentemente mi è piaciuto come mi stava, ed anche parecchio!
Da lì sono andata a caccia di righe per tutti e 4 i piani (sona kids compresa) dello store e mi sono portata a casa un bel bottino di vestiti ed accessori rigati, tra cui l'abitino che vedete nelle foto: nonostante sia di maglina e a righe orizzontali vi assicuro che non "allarga" affatto! Strano ma vero!
Insomma tutto questo per dire che per quanto regole e consigli possano essere giusti e condivisibili in linea generale vale sempre la pena fare un tentativo, magari troviamo l'eccezione! ;)
I have always liked stripes, especially the small and navy ones, I've always found them perfect for the early summer: casual but still ladylike But when at the start of this season come out all these pieces covered ine optical black and white stripes, is not that I liked them so much... I immediately labeled them as too showy and impegantive
Then few days ago I was on a Zara store and I noticed B&W striped trapeze mini dress and, even if I doubted that that pattern could look good on me, I still tried it: Surprisingly I liked how I looked, and quite a lot!
So I went trough all the 4 floors (including kids repart) of the store hunting stripes, and I brought home a good haul of striped clothes and accessories, including the dress you can see in the pictures: despite being jersey and with horizontal stripes and I assure you that it not "widens" you at all! Strange but true!
So all this to say that, as far as rules and tips can be righteous and acceptable in general, is always worth make a try, maybe you have just found the exception! ;)
