+ fondotinta / foundation

As I said, I already have two items for this category: my new favourite Maybelline Fit Me! foundation and the almost-perfect UD Naked Skin. I choose them for different finishes, as the Maybelline one is more dewy and it is not as long-lasting as the UD one, while the Naked Skin has more coverage and it gives a more flawless finish to my skin. Both really good.   [IT] Ecco, appunto, mi tocca barare già dalla prima domanda e citare due prodotti must del momento: un nuovo preferito, il Fit Me di Maybelline, e il quasi-perfetto Naked Skin di Urban Decay. Li uso per ottenere finish diversi e soprattutto una differente durata. Quello di Maybelline è un po' più luminoso, ma anche meno coprente e meno resistente del fondo di UD, che trovo invece molto più utile quando voglio maggiore coprenza e un trucco perfetto per tutta la giornata.
  + correttore / concealer

Again, Maybelline Fit Me! line scores as I really like their concealer too. I find myself reaching for it very often, as it's quick and easy to apply and it blends perfectly ino my skin. I like it more for the undereye area, but when I'm in a rush I usually put it on my spots as well and it works just fine.
When I need more coverage and a longer lasting finish, I use my MAC Pro Longwear concealer tho, as it's much better for covering scars and imperfections and it lasts all day without fail.

Un altro prodotto della line Fit Me di Maybelline, dato che uso il loro correttore praticamente tutti i giorni; lo trovo molto pratico, facile da applicare e da sfumare, un buon match per la mia carnagione. Benché lo preferisca per la zona occhi, quando sono di fretta mi trovo spesso ad utilizzarlo anche sul viso per coprire brufoletti e simili, con un discreto risultato. Quando voglio una coprenza maggiore preferisco tuttavia il Pro Longwear di MAC, che uso nella tonalità NC15, che maschera perfettamente e dura tutto il giorno.

+ cipria / powder

My go-to setting powder is the MUFE HD one, as it's translucent and I don't have to worry about it matching my skin tone, plus it's amazing for its purpose.

I don't use it regularly, but when I need one I usually grab my new Laura Mercier base in Flax. I need to make a proper review on it soon because I really like it. I used to use MAC Painterly Paintpot but now it's completely dried up, hence the LM purchase.

Non uso il primer molto regolarmente, ma quando lo faccio di solito applico Flax di Laura Mercier (promemoria mentale: scrivere review!); si tratta di una base color carne, molto similare a Painterly Paintpot di MAC. Infatti prima utilizzavo proprio quello, finché recentmente non ha deciso di abbandonarmi del tutto.

+ ombretto / eyeshadow

When I want to go for an easy look, I usually grab a colour like Patina by MAC or Fawn Over Me by Benefit and I use it all over the lid. They're very similar, golden-ish taupe-ish duochrome shades, which can be easily blended up to the crease.

Se voglio un look semplice e veloce, utilizzando un solo colore sfumato dalla palpebra alla piega dell'occhio, prendo Patina di MAC o Fawn Over Me di Benefit, due colori molto simili: un tortora dorato duochrome.

+ ombretto in crema / cream eyeshadow

It's in a stick form, but I think it fits this cateogry anyway. I'm talking about the pink shade from the Torch Revlon Eyeshadow Duo. I like it because it provides a very nice wash of colour, shimmery enough to brighten up the lid but also sheer enough to serve as a good base colour for another eyeshadow.

+ mascara

My new obsession is the L'Oréal Faux Cils Telescopic mascara in black, which I find to be very lenghtening and volumising for my lashes. I was surprised to like it this much, as I usually prefer mascaras with kind of chubbier wands, while this one has a very skinny and long one. But it works really well at grabbing all the lashes and coating them with just enough product.

La mia nuova ossessione è il Faux Cils Telescopic di L'Oréal in black, che trovo sia volumizzante che allungante per le mie ciglia. Di solito preferisco mascara con scovolini più 'in carne', quindi mi sono stupita di trovarmi bene con l'applicatore lungo e sottile di Telescopic. Si applica bene e rilascia solo tanto prodotto quanto basta, senza creare grumi.

Ok, maybe it's too new to be mentioned in this tag, but I've absolutely been loving 'Quirky Pink' blush from KIKO I reviewed a couple of days ago. I find it to be nicely pigmented and smooth on my cheeks, easily blendeable and very bright for this season. An old favourite of mine I should mentioned too, is probably MAC Pinch'o Peach blush, a vibrant pink from MACs sheertone blush range. Again, I'll link my review to this product.

Forse è un po' troppo presto per includerlo già in questo tag dei prodotti usati più spesso, ma il nuovo blush in 'Quirky Pink' della collezione limitata di KIKO ha scalato la vetta alla velocità della luce. L'ho recensito qualche giorno fa, quindi vi rimando al post per scoprire meglio questo prodotto.
Ma mi sento di citare anche un altro blush della vecchia guardia che era stato finora il più utilizzato, ovvero il mio fidato Pinch 'o Peach di MAC, un bel rosa acceso ma modulabile. Come sempre, vi rimando alla mia precedente review del prodotto.

+ rossetto / lipstick

I honestly don't have a most used one, as I prefer sheer balms on a daily basis more than an actual lipstick. But my go-to colour would definitely be ELF Nicely Nude lipstick from their mineral line; it's a very nice soft pinky nude, as the name suggests.

A dire la verità non ne ho uno in particolare, perché di solito preferisco qualcosa di più leggero sulle labbra come un balsamo o un gloss. Tuttavia, il colore che preferisco quando decido di darmi ai rossetti, è un tranquillissimo rosa nude, Nicely Pink di ELF.

As much as I hate sticky glosses, I use them more than lipsticks - as weird as it sounds, it's true. I guess it's just because lipglosses are lower maintainance and easier to put on when you're in a hurry. The one I always gravitate toward is a pink one from KIKO called Rosa Pallido #10. I find it to be pigmented and shiny enough to prevent me from looking dead.
[IT] Non li amo, anzi a volte li odio proprio, loro e la loro consistenza appiccicosa; però, per quanto strano sembri, li utilizzo più che i rossetti, essenzialmente perché ci vuole meno attenzione e precisione per applicarli e per mantenerli durante la giornata. Il più utilizzato è un rosa pallido di KIKO, il numero  chiamato semplicemente Rosa Pallido.
