Tartan, we all love you!

IT: Tutte ma proprio tutte quest’anno siamo ricascate nel Tartan e, se fino all’anno scorso, la gonna scozzese della nonna o la plaid shirt erano relegate sul fondo dell’armadio, adesso spopolano sulle migliori passerelle e riviste di moda. Gli eterni ritorni della moda non finiscono mai di sorprenderti. Quello che più mi piace di questo ritorno è che il tartan si può associare al neoprene (con cui ormai si realizzano anche borse e bikini) o a pattern floreali e varianti di tartan differenti, tutto questo senza essere accusati di esserci rotolati nell’armadio. Non vedo l’ora di proporre un outfit del genere ma, nel frattempo, mi accontento di rispolverare il mio blazer Zara in tartan black and white, un versione più composta che ha però il vantaggio di essere più versatile. Shirt e short neri, una maxi bag Calvin Klein morbidissima e un paio di tronchetti in camoscio spuntati e borchiati Friis Company. Tutto accompagnato da occhiali tondi neri vintage e maxi orecchini fatti a mano.

EN: We all love tartan (again!). If in the past years we left our tartan skirt or plaid shirt locked in the closet, now they’re the stars under the hotspots of the best catwalks. Fashion is always surprising! What I love the most of this trend is that now you can match tartant patterns with neoprene (that conquered also bags and bikinis world), flowers or another tartan pattern without be accused of crazyness. I can’t wait to realize an outfit like that but, in the meanwhile, I’m wearing my black and white Zara tartan blazer. This is a light version of this trend but it’s more versatile for sure. Black shirt and shorts, a black soft Calvin Klein maxi bag and a pair of studded suede mid caf open toe heels Friis Company. Plus ronded vintage sunglasses and handmade earrings.
