Nel 1954 Coco Chanel presentò per la prima volta il pezzo che sarebbe diventato il caposaldo del guardaroba femminile: la giacca nera a quattro tasche, corta e profilata: la "petite veste noire", uno colpo di genio di Mademoiselle Coco che arrivò dopo aver osservato la tipica giacca tirolese bordata di passamaneria intrecciata. Dopo più di mezzo secolo questo capolavoro è stato celebrato da un libro curato personalmente da Karl Lagerfeld e Carine Roitfeld uscito in autunno (ed.Steidl)
al quale ha fatto seguito l'omonima mostra itinerante iniziata a Tokio e che finalemnte dal 6 al 20 approderà a Milano presso la Rotonda della Basana. Davvero imperdibile!
