The man is not a machine

Biotechnology often conceive of man as a machine failing.
Let me explain .
Genetic engineering, in some ways, is nothing more than a design, through which it seeks to " create " or change , a process , a function to achieve a predictable result.
The problem arises when we speak of a system composed of living matter , such as humans.
A clock, albeit complicated because the fact of many parts, manufactured from small pieces of craftsmanship is a machine ( non-living ) where A + B = AB always , that is, if remove the hour hand and minute , and then replace together in the watch , both from a functional point of view that morphological change nothing compared to before .
In humans we have a living system , interacting elements in a dynamic, constantly changing.
A + B =? AB will never do .
This is because manipulating humans is unpredictable , unlike the clock manipulation . To take a trivial example , if I were to cut a finger , in any way I could go back to having my finger in exactly the same manner as before.

Evolution is another thing

20,000-25,000 genes that make up our genome , a huge variability , but also a dynamic infinite that will not let us be the "model" of jeans from last season autumn - winter, but always to the next .
Biotechnology think they should conceive the man for what he is. A treasure .
A source of incredible power , absolutely uncontrollable at present, precisely because we are not machine and especially because there is still so much to discover.
It is important to respect the fact that no error predict what we want to be , or we want to do , it is difficult , very difficult.
But then experiment with new things when ever it was easy ?
L'uomo non è una macchina
Le biotecnologie concepiscono spesso l'uomo come una macchina, fallendo.
Mi spiego meglio.
L'ingegneria genetica, per certi versi, non è altro che una progettazione, tramite la quale si cerca di "creare" o modificare, un processo, una funzione per arrivare ad un risultato prevedibile.
Il problema sorge, quando si parla di un sistema formato da materia vivente, come l'uomo.
Un orologio, seppur complicato perchè fatto di molte parti, di piccoli pezzetti fabbricati con maestria, è una macchina(non vivente) dove A+B=AB sempre, cioè, se staccassi la lancetta delle ore e quella dei minuti, e poi le rimettessi insieme nell'orologio, sia da un punto di vista funzionale che morfologico non cambierebbe nulla rispetto a prima.
Nell'uomo abbiamo un sistema vivente, elementi interagenti in modo dinamico, in continuo mutamento.
A+B = ? non farà mai AB.
Questo perchè manipolare sull'uomo è imprevedibile, al contrario della manipolazione sull'orologio. Per fare un esempio banale, se io mi tagliassi un dito, in nessun modo potrei tornare ad avere il mio dito in maniera esattamente uguale a prima.
20.000-25.000 geni che compongono il nostro genoma, una variabilità enorme, ma soprattutto una dinamicità infinita che non ci fa mai essere il "modello" di jeans della scorsa stagione autunno-inverno, ma sempre quello della prossima.
Le biotecnologie penso che debbano concepire l'uomo per quello che è. Un tesoro.
Una fonte di potenza incredibile, assolutamente poco controllabile allo stato attuale, proprio perchè non siamo macchina e soprattutto perchè ancora tanto c'è da scoprire.
L'importante è rispettare il fatto che predire senza errore ciò che vorremo essere, o vorremo fare, è difficile, molto difficile.
Ma d'altronde sperimentare cose nuove quando mai è stato facile?
