Quando si pensa allo stile Gothic generalmente viene subito in mente il make up scuro, dark, con gli occhi o molto definiti, o molto sfumati con ombretti di colori scuri e il rossetto rosso scuro o rosso vivo; nei vestiti il notevole uso del colore nero eventualmente abbinato, a seconda dai capi, al bianco, blu, rosso o viola, con pizzi, ricami e dettagli di vario genere.
Ebbene non è sempre così: esiste una corrente di questo stile che si allontana dal lato dark si accosta invece a scenari più romantico/horror di matrice decadente, in particolare si rifà a tutto il mondo che ruota intorno al cosiddetto fenomeno "virgin suicide".
Nel mondo gotico delle vergini suicide, il nero è quasi assente, al suo posto troviamo colori chiari ed evanescenti affiancati da altri più profondi e scuri, generalmente il rosso ed il bianco, le linee degli abiti sono fin troppo semplici e pulite, anche se arricchite di dettagli e ricami ultra femminili, gli accessori praticamente sono inesistenti.
Anche il make up è all'insegna della semplicità: la pelle è diafana e viene utilizzato un trucco leggero, al massimo è consentito l'uso del rossetto rosso; allo stesso modo i capelli sono sciolti o legati in modo scomposto e sempre un pò arruffati.
Anche se potrebbe non sembrare questo è uno stile decisamente difficile da creare e da portare e mi pare anche molto poco adatto alla vita quotidiana, ma di sicuro se fatto bene è di grande impatto! :)
When you think to Gothic style generally come at your mind dark make-up, eyes or very defined, or very shaded with dark colors, dark red or bright red lipstick; in the clothes the significant use of black eventually combined with white, blue, red or purple, with lace embroideries and details of various kinds. Well it is not always like this: there is a current of this style that moves away from the dark side and approaches instead to a more romantic/horror scenarios on decadent array, particularly refers to the whole world that revolves around the so-called "virgin suicide". In the Gothic world of Virgin suicides, black is almost absent, in its place we find clear and evanescent colors joined by other more deep and dark, usually red and white, clothes cuts are all too simple and clean, although enriched by embroideries and ultra feminine details, accessories are practically non-existent. The make up is in the sign of simplicity: the skin is diaphanous with a lightweight makeup, it is permissible to use the red lipstick; in the same way hair is loose or bound but always a bit disheveled. Although it might not seem this is a very difficult style to create and carry and not so suited to everyday life, but certainly if it is done well, it has great impact! :)
