Trend of the day: i mocassini

Uno dei trend che sta invadendo i blog e le riviste patinate, è quello dei mocassini; dalle star del jet set internazionale fino alle fashion blogger, sembra che tutte abbiano la necessità di indossarli. Persino gli scaffali delle boutiques sono pieni di mocassini, quasi fossero gli unici modelli che la moda propone per la stagione ormai alle porte. Se ne trovano per tutti i gusti e in ogni modello: dal più classico al più modaiolo con borchie o stampa animalier. Pur non piacendomi, devo ammettere che qualche modello è carino, e le star suggeriscono il modo giusto di abbinarli.
One trend that is invading blogs and glossy magazines, is that of loafers; stars of the international jet set and the fashion bloggers wear them. The shelves of the shops are full of loafers, as if they are the only models that fashion shows for this season. There are loafers for everyone and every model: from the most classic to the more fashionable with studs or animal print. I don't like loafers, but I must admit that some models are cute, and stars suggest the right way to match them.

Elle MacPherson e Kate Moss li indossano con disinvoltura e stanno molto bene con i mocassini, ma ci sono dei modelli che sembrano le pantofole di mia nonna, e credo che mi farebbero sorridere se dovessi vederli in giro. Ciò non toglie che i mocassini stanno bene soprattutto alle ragazze alte e con caviglie sottili, e soprattutto vanno indossati senza calze, altrimenti sono davvero brutti.
