Questa di oggi, signori miei, è davvero una compilation con i controcazzi che raccoglie tutte quelle hit sul Vietnam che sono state dimenticate col tempo. Perchè se a me chiedessero di "musica del Vietnam", a me verrebbero in mente solamente giusto due-tre nomi: il Boss, i Rolling Stones e pochi altri. In realtà vi era tutta un'altra faccia che credo sia passata inosservata, ma che sono convinto meriti almeno un ascolto.Di seguito troverete brani e singoli che guardano il Vietnam attraverso gli occhi dell'altra America, quella nera, quella che allora veniva forse troppo spesso ignorata. La compilation include 23 gioiellini con una pazzesca anima ora soul, ora blues, ed è impossibile non lasciarsi emozionare dalla loro enorme potenza.A questo punto non mi rimane che augurarvi un buon tuffo nel passato, fatto di napalm, morte, mogli che aspettano, proteste e tanto, tanto cuore.
