Vi ricordate di sama?

Vi ricordate della profuga Sama e della sua gatta Lola che erano sbarcate a Lampedusa qualche mese fa? L’anno scorso, nel mese di giugno, era arrivata nelle coste dell’isola siciliana l’ennesima nave piena di disperazione, con a bordo decine e decine di profughi. Noi vi avevamo raccontato le storia di Sama, una ragazza sudanese che nella traversata aveva portato con sé la piccola Lola, la sua amata gatta. Le due amiche si erano dovute separare: la micia doveva osservare un periodo di quarantena, ma il sindaco di Lampedusa aveva promesso che dopo un breve periodo, Sama e Lola si sarebbero potute ricongiungere
E a quanto pare la promessa del primo cittadino è stata rispettata!
Dopo ben 7 lunghi mesi passati l’una lontana dall’altra, le due si sono riabbracciate a Berlino.
Oltre al lavoro di mediazione del sindaco, Sig Giusi Nicolini è stato fondamentale anche il ruolo di una volontaria che ha seguito il caso: Eletta Cirillo. «L’incontro con Sama e i suoi familiari è stato molto commovente – ha detto Eletta all’agenzia di stampa GeaPress – Sama ha subito stretto a sé il gattino. Hanno pianto tutti. Eravamo molto felici. Lola, da parte sua, ha iniziato a fare le fusa, sembrava proprio contenta».

Do you remember the refugee Sama and his cat Lola who had landed in Lampedusa a few months ago? And apparently the promise of the mayor of Lampedusa, Mrs Giusi Nicolini has been met!
Well after 7 long months away from the other one o’clock, the two have riabbracciate in Berlin.
In addition to the mayor’s mediation work, it was crucial the role of a volunteer who has been following the case: Elected Cirillo. “The meeting with Sama and his family was very moving – he said the agency Elected GeaPress release – Sama has suffered cuddled the kitten. They all cried. We were very happy. Lola, for his part, began to purr, it seemed very happy
