What Does Valentino Think of Raf Simons at Dior

With rumours circulating that Raf Simons is the new frontrunner for the Dior job, designer Valentino isn't convinced he'd be the right man to follow John Galliano. "I'm not sure - it's an amazing job, I don't know if he would be the right person for it," Valentino told during photography exhibition this week.  "John Galliano is difficult to replace. I think it's important not to jump into things. It needs to be a logical continuation of the brand. But who am I to say anything? I guess we all just have to wait and see."

Con i rumor che circolano in queste ore che vorrebbero Raf Simons fra i papabili per il ruolo di direttore artistico a Dior, lo stilista Valentino non e' convinto che egli possa essere l'uomo giusto per sostituire John Galliano. "Non sono sicuro - e' un lavoro meraviglioso, non so se e' la persona giusto per quel ruolo." Ha dichiarato Valentino durante una mostra fotografica questa settimana. "John Galliano e' difficile da sostituire. Penso che non bisogna fare le cose di fretta. Dovrebbe essere una continuazione logica del brand. Ma ad ogni modo, chi sono io per dire qualcosa? Penso che tutti dovremmo aspettare e vedere."
