Abbigliamento estivo e bianco sono quasi sinonimi. Basta una camicia bianca e jeans blu per sentirsi sexy e chc anche nelle calde giornate estive in città. Ed un bel prendisole bianco in un tessuto leggero come il cotone è il compagno perfetto quando il sole brucia implacabile.
Gli abiti bianchi sono semplici, freschi ed estivi: indossarli bene, tuttavia, è un po 'più complicato di quanto la semplicità del colore suggerirebbe.
Uno degli elementi più importanti da valutare è scegliere una sfumatura di bianco che si adatti al tono della pelle.
Non tutti possono indossare il bianco puro ma per fortuna c'è un bianco per ciacun tipo di carnagione!
Le tonalità di pelle più chiare (quelle varianti al blu e rosa - guardate le vene nell'interno del polso, se sono blu questo è il vostro caso-) funzionano bene sia con il classico bianco latte e con accessori in argento, sia con le tonalità crema che tendono a scaldarne i toni.
Le pelli tendenti al bronzo (varianti in arancio, giallo o ocra - con vene verdine all'interno del polso) vanno meglio con il bianco puro o l'ecrù, in particolare abbinato con accessori in oro.
Le più fortunate dalla pelle scura (che abbiano sottotoni gialli o blu o rossi) sono le più versatili e funzionano bene con praticamente qualsiai tipo di bianco nonché con accessori in argento o in oro.
Ricordate che i toni caldi e le pelli olivastre (marrone scuro, marrone chiaro, o anche pallido, a condizione che vi siano sfumature dorate o giallo) vanno benissimo con i bianchi avorio e crema e con accessori sia in oro che in argento.
Se non siete sicure di quale sia il tono della vostra pelle basta che la confrontiate con un foglio di carta bianca in lougo luminoso, preferibilmente all'esterno.Infine una raccomandazione per quando scegliete un abito total white.
Il tessuto bianco in molti casi risulta trasparente, e questo è un effetto davvero poco elegante, perciò
al momento di acquistare il vostro abito bianco, controllare il fattore di trasparenza.
Per fare questo basta posizionare il vestito controluce e tenere una mano dietro: a questo punto osservate quanto è evidente la vostra mano. Se si riesce a vedere il colore e la forma della mano, quel vestito è decisamente troppo trasparente!
Per evitare questo fastidioso problema scegliete tessuti di qualità, questi hanno molte meno probabilità di essere trasparenti oppure fate attenzione che gli abiti siano foderati.
In alternativa cercate cotoni più pesanti, come cotone, lino, seta ed alcuni tessuti sintetici.

Cool skin tones (with blue and pink undertones) work well with classically bright white (because it also has cool undertones), creamy whites and pair well with silver accessories. Bronze skin tones (with orange, yellow, or red undertones), and go best with white or ecru, especially when paired with gold accessories. Ebony skin tones (which can have yellow, blue, or red undertones) are more versatile and work with white or ecru as well as both silver and gold accessories. Warm skin tones (dark brown, light brown, or even pale provided that there are golden or yellow undertones) go best with cream or ivory whites and either gold or silver accessories.
If you’re not sure what your skin tone is, stand in bright, preferably outdoor light and compare your skin to a sheet of white paper.
To end, a warning to select a solid and opaque white dress. White fabric suffers the curse of being see-through in many instances, and this is no elegant at all. When you shop for your white dress, check the transparency factor. To do this:· Place the dress up against the light.· Hold a hand behind the dress.· Look for your hand and see how obvious it is. If you can see the color and form of your hand, that dress is going to show everything underneath! To avoid it select quality fabric. Quality fabrics are less likely to be see-through. Some dresses may even be lined. Look for heavier count cottons, linen, and some man-made fabrics.
