Winter colors on your lips

Se vi piacciono i colori brillanti ed allegri perchè non provare a dare un tocco di brio ai vostri look con un rossetto in una tinta vivace? Anche se generalmente vengono considerati estivi, questi rossetti non sono meno adatti a questo periodo dei rossi scuri e delle tinte brune! ;)
 Per iniziare è essenziale avere una buona base, pulita e luminosa, perciò esfoliate ed idratate le labbra prima di applicare il trucco.

1. Applicate un fondotinta che corrisponde al tono della vostra pelle su tutte le labbra. Questo aiuterà il colore a spiccare di più sulla vostra pelle e a rsultare più simile alla sua tinta originale. Quindi applicate un primer a base di silicone sulle labbra per aiutare a mantenere il rossetto luminoso e senza sbavature.
2. Date nuova vita ai colori estivi e primaverili. Delineate e riempite le labbra con una matita per labbra nude come base. Quindi mescolate un rossetto chiaro e luminoso che era di moda durante i mesi più caldi con una o due gocce di gloss bordeaux o rosso scuro e stendete uniformemente sulle labbra con un pennello per labbra. Il prodotto finito deve apparire luminoso e vivace, ma avere quella profondità che lo renda adatto all' inverno.
3.  Abbinate ad un rossetto vivace, un make up per occhi e guance tipicamente invernale. Questo vi farà rimanere nello "spirito" del periodo. Per esempio, potete abbinare un rossetto corallo  con ombretto oro ed un tocco di blush sulle guance.
4. Abbinate un rossetto brillante, come un rosso vivace, con trucco per occhi naturale e guance appena accennate con il blush. Prima di applicare il rossetto sulle labbra delineatele e riempitele con una matita per labbra cremosa in un colore corrispondente ed utilizzate un pennello per labbra per distribuire uniformemente il prodotto. Infine aggiungete un eyeliner nero o marrone scuro e mascara per definire gli occhi, ma ricordate che devono rimanere le labbra al centro della scena, perciò evitate qualsiasi ombretto colorato.

Tente comunque presente che i rossetti colorati che sono più facilmente adattabili alla stagione invernale  sono quelli di intensità media: questi possono essere indossati tranquillametne senza troppi accorgimenti durante i mesi freddi, soprattutto se avete una personalità che ama farsi notare! ;)

With a bit of compromise, you can look winter-ready while still sporting your lipsticks from warmer seasons. Begin always with a clean base. Exfoliate and moisturize the lips prior to makeup application.

1. Apply a foundation that matches your skin tone all over lips. This will help the color to show up on your skin closer to the way it does in the package. On your lip line, pat a silicone-based makeup primer to help keep bright lipstick in place.
2. Give summery and spring brights a second run. Line and fill lips in with a nude lip pencil for a base the lipstick can stick to. On an artist's palette, mix a light and bright lipstick that was fashionable during the warmer months--such as an electric light pink--with a drop or two of a sheer deep brown gloss. Spread evenly on lips with a lip brush. The finished product should still appear bright, but have more depth to make it winter worthy.
3. Match a light bright lipstick with eyes and cheeks that are evidently winter or holiday-themed. If you want to stay with the times, yet absolutely must wear an undiluted warm-weather lip color, at least make up your eyes and cheeks in the spirit of the season. For instance, a bright coral lipstick would look stunning with gold eyeshadow, a touch of red mixed in with a soft coral blush on cheeks and a subtle gold highlighter on the tops of cheekbones.
4. Pair a bright mid tone lipstick, such as a vivid true red, with bare eyes and barely rouged cheeks.Before applying the lipstick, line and fill lips in with a creamy lip pencil in a matching color. Use a lip brush to evenly distribute the product for a professional finish. You may use a black or dark brown eyeliner and mascara to define your eyes, but allow your lips to take center stage by not wearing any colored eyeshadow.

Once a bright lipstick hits the mid tone level of intensity, it is better suited to winter fashion than its lighter counterpart. Feel free to wear bright mid tone shades other than red during the cold months, especially if you have a personality that likes to get noticed.
