winter stuff in summer

Ho la cattiva -chiamiamola così- abitudine di lasciami colpire dai capi invernali in estate. Sarà per il grande caos dei saldi che non mi fanno capire niente ed alla fine finisco sempre al reparto "nuova collezione", sarà che in inverno ci si veste di più, sarà che non ho mai fatto il cambio di stagione in vita mia. Quando una cosa mi piace la compro senza pensarci su troppo, non so mai quando avrò modo di indossarla o con cosa la abbinerò, la compro e la metto nella cabina armadio dicendo fra me e me: "arriverà il tuo momento". Il momento di questo maglione è arrivato proprio qualche giorno fa, in occasione di una pizza con amici e serata al mare annessa, seppur le temperature siano alte, quando cala il sole -soprattutto dopo una giornata di mare- fa sempre quel leggero freschetto; ed è proprio quando i miei amici hanno freddo che penso, sempre fra me e me, "grazie amico, mai acquisto fu più utile di questo".I always got the bad habit to buy winter stuff during summer time. Maybe it's because the craziness about sales, maybe it's because I always want to have a look at the "new collection" corner, maybe it's because in winter you can wear more clothes, maybe it's because I never did a change of season in my whole life. When I like something, I buy it without thinking about it too much, I don't know when I'll wear it or with what I'll mix it, I buy it and put it on my closet saying to myself: "I'll wear you at the right time". The right time of that sweatshirt was exactly some days ago, in occasion of a pizza and a quite night walk at the beach. Even if the temperatures are high, during the evening the weather is not so hot like during the day and when your friends start to tell you how much they are freezing is that the moment that you can tell to yourself: "thanks buddy, I knew that you will be helpful."
