Dopo la collaborazione con la collezione per la primavera-estate 2014 presentata a settembre durante Milano Moda Donna, Mila Schön ufficializza la nomina di Alessandro De Benedetti a direttore creativo della griffe del gruppo giapponese Itochu e dal 2012 prodott

a in licenza dall’azienda di Pescara New Antica Group.
“Sono molto emozionato e onorato dell’importante incarico che mi è stato affidato e orgoglioso di far parte della storia di questa grande maison. Cercherò di reinterpretare con il mio stile lo spirito couture che ha reso il brand prestigioso nel mondo”, ha dichiarato lo stilista nato a Genova nel 1970. Dopo aver studiato illustrazione, moda e arte a Milano è diventato, per un periodo, assistente nell’atelier haute couture di Thierry Mugler a Parigi. Quindi, il debutto sulle passerelle milanesi nel 2002 con la collezione che porta il suo nome. Sette anni più tardi ha lanciato il progetto atelier “De Benedetti Bloodrouge”, mentre, attualmente, cura la propria linea di prêt-à-porter Experiment.
“Siamo veramente entusiasti – ha commentato il direttore generale Eugenia De Benedetto – che Alessandro De Benedetti si sia unito a noi. Una scelta compiuta nel rispetto del dna del brand perché è un designer in grado di comprendere e reinterpretare l’eredità e l’essenza di Mila Schön”.

After collaborating with the collection for spring-summer 2014 shown last September during Milano Moda Donna, Mila Schön officialises the appointment of Alessandro De Benedetti as creative director of the label belonging to the Japanese group Itochu and since 2012 licensed to the Pescara-based firm New Antica Group.
“I feel very excited and honoured for the important task I have been entrusted with and I am proud to be part of the history of this great fashion house. I will try to reinterpret, according to my style, the couture spirit which made the brand famous in the world,” said the designer born in Genova in 1970. After studying drawing, fashion and art in Milan he became, for a period of time, an assistant in Thierry Mugler’s haute couture atelier in Paris. Then came the debut on the catwalks in Milan in 2002, with the collection bearing his name. Seven years later he launched the  project “De Benedetti Bloodrouge”, while, currently, he takes care of his own ready-to-wear line Experiment.
“We are really enthusiast,” said the Director General Eugenia De Benedetto, “that Alessandro De Benedetti has joined us. It is a choice in line with the DNA of the brand because he is a designer capable of understanding and reinterpreting Mila Schön’s heritage and essence.”
