In merito al progetto “Savage Beauty”, che anticipa l'apertura al Costume Institute il 4 Maggio a New York della mostra per ammirare proprio le creazioni di Alexander McQueen, Vogue America, per l’occasione, ha voluto dedicare un servizio fotografico per il numero di Maggio 2011, rendendo omaggio a Alexander McQueen con "Alexander the Great".
