Alexander ha parlato del film, dell’esperienza di girare una scena di violenza ai danni della co-protagonista, la sua ex Kate Bosworth, e ovviamente ha parlato anche di True Blood. Mentre in un’altra intervista ad MTV News, Alex, riguardo la stagione 5 e il suo personaggio Eric Northman, ha detto:
“They’re writing the season right now and there’s a great opportunity here ’cause old Eric is back, but it’s not the old Eric, ’cause he still remembers the love with Sookie and that changed him. But when [Sookie] walks out, there’s a moment where he’s like ‘I’ve protected myself for centuries and this is what happens when you let a human in or a faerie human in’. And so it’s gonna be interesting to see what happens with Eric, if he then goes back to being that guarded, protected guy or if he’ll continue to be open.”
Gli autori stanno scrivendo la stagione 5 e Alex è sicuro che ciò che è successo nella stagione 4 ha cambiato Eric. Nel momento in cui Sookie va via rifiutando il suo amore, Eric pensa che questo è ciò che si riceve quando ci si apre verso qualcuno, dopo secoli passati a proteggersi. Sarà interessante, quindi, vedere se tornerà ad essere guardingo o tornerà ad aprirsi di nuovo.
