Con il mese di settembre si è concluso il nostro primo contest “TUTTI IPROFUMI DELLA MIA VITA” nel quale invitavamo le nostre lettrici a raccontarci la storia delle loro note profumate preferite.Abbiamo deciso di pubblicare tre post, quelli che più ci hanno colpite per il “cuore” con cui sono stati scritti.
Il primo che vogliamo farvi leggere è quello di Carlotta Rubaltelli, giovanissima e deliziosa fashion blogger di Parma che ogni giorno pubblica sul suo blog, Style and Trouble, consigli di stile, tutte le ultime novità, ma soprattutto i suoi outfit, nei quali mixa sapientemente capi e accessori firmati con quelli low cost. Un grande lavoro quello di Carlotta, cominciato a cavallo del 2012 e portato avanti con impegno e perseveranza che sono stati premiati con migliaia di visualizzazioni, articoli su quotidiani e riviste, quasi duemila “like” su facebook e la celebrazione come “Fashion Icon 2012” per il sito bigodino.it. L’idea di scrivere la storia dei profumi che hanno attraversato i miei primi 20 anni di vita mi ha inevitabilmente portato a ripensare al passato e a come e perchè i miei gusti in fatto di profumi siano piano piano cambiati.
Ho avuto il mio profumo a 15 anni, un po’ tardi in effetti, prima mi limitavo solamente ad ammirare ed annusare quelli (quasi tutti di YSL) custoditi nel bagno di mia mamma. Il primo grande amore è stato per Hypnotic Poison di Dior, un sapore dolce, ma non stucchevole, che mi ricorda tanto, non so bene perchè, il profumo di biscotti appena sfornati, è stato il mio unico profumo per tantissimo tempo e ancora oggi lo rimetto volentieri ogni tanto.
Dopo Dior è stata la volta di Armani Code, decisamente diverso dal precedente, fresco e fruttato, è un profumo deciso e piacevole che, al contrario di Hypnotic, metterei tutti i giorni. Code mi è sempre piaciuto, mi piace tutt’oggi, ma non mi ha mai conquistato in pieno, è un buon profumo ma non il Mio profumo.
Dopo Code ho avuto un breve amore con The One di Dolce e Gabbana, regalatomi da un’amica, è un buon profumo, fruttato e leggero che ho usato spesso e finito decisamente in fretta!
Poi è stata la volta di un profumo per uomo della linea Anthology (per la verità presentata come unisex) di Dolce e Gabbana: L’Amoreux, non l’ho mai acquistato in realtà ma alla fine ho accumulato all’incirca 15 piccoli campioncini con cui sono andata avanti per tantissimo tempo! La prima volta che l’ho provato non avevo capito appartenesse ai profumi maschili visto che la linea, composta da 5 profumi, era presentata in uno scaffale a parte e l’ho scoperto solo quando, decisa all’acquisto, sono tornata in profumeria! Devo dire che ne sono rimasta stupita, alla fine è un buonissimo profumo, fresco e deciso che io non riserverei solo agli uomini!
È stata poi la volta del profumo di Elie Saab, l’ho acquistato quasi per caso perchè dovevo cambiare una cosa in profumeria e non sapevo cosa scegliere, ma alla fine mi è piaciuto davvero tanto e, in parte, ha sostituito Code nella mia vita quotidiana. È fresco e deciso, buono, ma non ingombrante, ancora oggi lo uso molto spesso.
Dopo il profumo dello stilista libanese è venuta la volta, anche per me, di cadere nella rete di Narciso Rodriguez For Her, ho sentito e riprovato mille volte questo profumo prima di decidermi definitivamente ad acquistarlo e, al momento, è in assoluto il mio profumo preferito. Assomiglia per certi versi a Hypnotic, ma è meno avvolgente e meno persistente, perfetto sia per il giorno che per la sera.
Da pochi giorni ho poi scoperto Manifesto: la nuovissima fragranza di YSL dedicata alle donne audaci, che mi ha stupito e sta iniziando a piacermi davvero tanto. Da anni non apprezzavo un profumo di YSL così tanto, solitamente li trovo troppo “da mamma” o troppo distanti dal mio gusto, ma questo, legnoso e particolare, mi sta piano piano conquistando.
Concludendo devo dire, tra l’altro, che spesso, sopratutto negli anni passati, passavo ore in profumeria a sentire tutti i nuovi profumi, ma difficilmente mi sono decisa ad acquistarne uno per un motivo o per un altro. Tra i profumi che ho sempre adorato, ma sempre lasciato in profumeria ci sono sicuramente Femme di Hugo Boss e The Beat di Burberry.
So che la mia “storia profumata” non è lunghissima nè ricchissima, ma che volete farci? Ho avuto pochi, grandi amori che, quasi tutti, fanno parte tutt’ora della mia collezione di profumi. In realtà, poi, devo ammettere che mettendomi a scrivere questo breve racconto mi sono ricordata di più profumi di quanti avrei mai immaginato all’inizio!” Carlotta

"The scents that accompany us during the path of life inevitably define us, define our tastes and, if we want, outline in part our personality. Very often I get to enter in perfumery, hear a perfume and immediately associate it to a friend, my sister or my mom, and just as I have often find similarities traits between two people who love the same scent. Although I am not a person obsessed with perfumes and i go out very often without, but i love feel the scent of the others (as long as it is light) and learn to recognize and distinguish the people with the sense of smell.
The idea of writing the history of perfumes that have crossed my first 20 years of life i has inevitably led to rethink the past-and how and why my taste in fact perfume until floor plan changed. I had my first perfume when i was 15 years old, a little late in fact, before i had only admired those (almost all of YSL) kept in the bathroom of my mum.
The first great love was for Hypnotic Poison by Dior, a sweet taste, but not cloying, that reminds me so much the scent of fresh baked cookies; it was my only perfume for many years and, often, still today.
After Dior has been the time of Armani Code, decidedly different from the previous one, fresh and fruity, and a perfume decided and pleasant that, contrary to Hypnotic, i'd put it all the days. I liked Armani Code in the past, I also like it today, but it has never won because it is a good perfume but not my perfume.
After Armani Code i had a short love with The One of Dolce and Gabbana, a present of a friend; it is a good perfume, fruity and light that i always be finished quickly!
Then it was the turn of a fragrance for men of the line Anthology (for the truth presented as unisex) of Dolce and Gabbana: L'Amoreux, i have never purchased in reality but in the end i have accumulated more o less 15 small samples with which i went forward to a long, long time! The first time that i tried it, i didn't realize that it is a perfume for man, composed of 5 scents. I have to say that I was astonished, by the yummy scent, fresh and decided that it is not only for men!
It was then the turn of the perfume of Elie Saab, i purchased almost by accident because i had to change one thing in perfumery and i didn't know what to choose, but in the end i really enjoyed and, in part, has replaced Armani Code in my daily life. It is fresh and decided, good, but not bulky, even today i use very often.
After the fragrance of Lebanese designer came the time, even for me, to fall in the network of Narciso Rodriguez For her, I have heard and retried a thousand times this perfume before finally making up my mind to buy it and, at the time, is my favorite perfume. It resembles in some respects to Hypnotic, but is less enveloping and less persistent, perfect for both day and evening.
From a few day i then discovered Manifesto: the brand new fragrance of YSL dedicated to women that daring, which surprised me and i'm starting to love it very much. At last, after so much time, i have been able to appreciate again a perfume of YSL, beacause i usually found them too "Mom" or far away from my taste.
Finally i have to say, among other things, that often, especially in the past few years, i would spend hours in perfumery to hear all the new scents, but hardly i decided to buy one for one reason or another. Among the scents that i have always adored, but always left in perfumery there are certainly Femme by Hugo Boss and The Beat of Burberry.
I know that my "history perfumed" is not long nor very rich, but that can you do?
I had a few great loves that, almost all of them, are part now still in my collection of perfumes. In reality, however, I must admit that putting myself to write this short story I remembered a more perfumes of those who i would never have imagined at the beginning." Carlotta
