Carnevale!

Passato S. Valentino è ora di pensare alla prossima festa: Carnevale!:D
Carnevale è una festa divertentissima che permette a grandi e piccini di mascherarsi e trasformarsi per qualche ora in un'altra persona o personaggio: un gioco che fa impazzire di gioia i bambini ma che non smette di affascinare anche gli adulti. E poi le sfilate, i coriandoli, i dolci... a Carnevale è impossibile non divertirsi!
Conosciuto in tutto il mondo come uno dei carnevali più belli esistenti, il Carnevale di Venezia è, senza alcun dubbio, quello più ricco di storia: e dato che la prossima settimana andrò proprio a Venezia per partecipare al Carnevale, non potevo non affrontare l'argomento! ;)
Le sue origini risalgono al 1094 quando se ne trovò la prima testimonianza in un documento del Doge Vitale Falier, politico italiano dell’epoca che racconta di divertimenti pubblici nominandolo, appunto, “Carnevale”.– anche se il primo documento ufficiale in cui si dichiara il Carnevale di Venezia festa pubblica risale al 1296.
Le oligarchie veneziane decisero di istituire il Carnevale per concedere alla popolazione – soprattutto, alla fetta più umile per calmare i malumori – un arco di tempo dedicato ai festeggiamenti, al divertimento, alla musica ed al ballo, nascondendo la propria identità dietro a delle maschere e a dei costumi colorati. 
All’epoca, i festeggiamenti iniziavano il 26 dicembre e duravano fino al Mercoledì delle Ceneri, durando circa sei settimane.
Fu, poi, nel XVIII secolo che il Carnevale di Venezia fu conosciuto ed apprezzato in tutta Europa.

Carnival is a funny holiday very popular in Europe and especially here in Italy, that allows children and adults to dress up a costume and become someone else for a few hours: a game that makes kids go crazy , but that never ceases to fascinate even adults. Without thinking of parades, confetti, sweets... during Carnival is impossible not to have fun !
Known throughout the world as one of the most beautiful existing carnivals , the Carnival of Venice is, without a doubt, the most rich in history and since the next week I will there to participate at the Carnival, how could not I deal with this topic? ;)
Its origins date back to 1094, in fact we found the first evidence in a document of Doge Vitale Falier , an Italian politician who tells a period of public entertainment calling it, in fact, " Carnival." - Even though the first official document that stating Carnival of Venice as public holiday dates back to 1296.
The Venetian oligarchy decided to set up the carnival to give to the people - especially the most humble slice, to appease the discontent - a span of time devoted to the festivities , entertainment , music and dancing , hiding their identities behind masks and colorful costumes .At the time , the festivities began on December 26 and lasted until Ash Wednesday , lasting about six weeks.
It was , then , in the eighteenth century, that the Carnival of Venice was known and appreciated throughout Europe.
