Negli ultimi giorni a Corfù abbiamo esplorato la costa occidentale e quelle a sud dell'isola (e finalmente siamo riusciti a vedere qualche tramonto sul mare).
A dire la verità, dopo aver visto il resto, queste coste sono risultate un pò più noiose, e sono sostanzialmente tutte simili: sono per lo più formate da grandi insenature con lunghe spiagge dorate che generalmente terminano con gli scogli alle estremità e qualche faraglione in mezzo al mare raggiungibile anche a nuoto.
Non fraintendetemi belle sono belle, il mare è favoloso pure lì e nonostante la sabbia rimane limpidissimo anche con le onde, c'è un bel fondale con parecchi pesci e la vista di queste scogliere completamente ricoperte da alberi e piante di diversi colori che circondano le spiagge è davvero particolare, ma a confronto con il resto dell'isola sono decisamente meno interessanti, anche se molto più adatte al relax.
Con l'occasione siamo anche andati a vedere il lago Korission, il più grande dell'isola, e quella che doveva essere una gitarella di poche ore si è rivelata una vera impresa: è indubbiamente suggestivo il percorso per arrivarci tra fitti boschi di ulivi e cipressi, ma sconsiglierei a chiunque di avventurarsi su quelle strade in macchina: sono piccole, tortuose e mezze dissestate, e con pendenze assurde! Credo che mio padre per tutto il tempo non abbia desiderato altro che ritornare al più presto all'hotel! ^^
In the last days we explored the west coast of Corfu and the south of the island (and we finally got to see some sunset over the sea)
To tell you the truth, after watching the rest, these shores were a little more boring, and they are all basically similar: they are mostly formed by large bays with long golden beaches that usually end with the rocks and some reef in the middle of the sea that can also be reached by swimming.
Do not get me wrong, they're really beautiful as well, the sea is fabulous there too and despite the sand, it remains crystal clear even with waves, there is a nice backdrop with several fishes and the sight of these cliffs completely covered by trees and plants of different colors surrounding the beaches is really special, but compared to the rest of the island are much less interesting, although much more suited to relax.
On this occasion, we also went to see the lake Korission, the largest of the island, and what was supposed to be a little trip of a few hours turned out to be quite a venture: it is certainly a suggestive path to get there through thick groves of olive trees and cypresses, but I would not recommend to anyone to venturing on those roads with car: they are small, winding and half bumpy, and with absurd uphills! I think my father for all the time did not wish but to come back soon to the boat! ^^

Ok i miei non saranno dei gran fotografi, ma io devo ammettere le mie colpe: oltre a non stare mai ferma (non sapete in quante foto sono venuta mossa!), sono una campionessa delle foto con gli occhi chiusi!^^
Insomma ho passato 10 giorni a tuffarmi da qualsiasi scoglio trovassi, e l'unica foto venuta bene è quella dello scivolone con mega facciata! Grazie papà!
Io ci provo a stare in posa, ma se ci si mette pure il mare... chi se l'aspettava quell'ondata da dietro! I try to stroke a pose, but even the was sea against me... who was waiting for that wave from behind!
Insomma questo è tutto: spero di non avervi annoiato troppo con tutte queste foto, ma dalla prossima settimana si torna alla normalità, si ricomincia a parlare di moda! ;D
