Lo stilista di Pesaro debutta a Milano con la collezione primavera-estate 2014 presso l’Armani/Teatro.

Oltre alle collezioni dei suoi brand, Giorgio Armani ospiterà ogni stagione negli spazi dell’Armani/Teatro in via Bergognone le sfilate di alcuni talenti emergenti italiani. Il primo sarà Andrea Pompilio in scena alla prossima edizione di Milano

“Servono gesti concreti per sostenere la moda italiana – ha dichiarato Armani – iniziative che diano sempre più incisività e senso del nuovo alle fashion week milanesi. Per questo ho deciso di mettere a disposizione il mio teatro di via Bergognone per le sfilate di alcuni dei più promettenti designer, che potranno contare sui servizi tecnici della mia struttura. Così ho invitato Andrea Pompilio a presentare il suo menswear: sarà lui a inaugurare questa iniziativa, che di stagione in stagione vedrà ospiti diversi”.
“È un immenso onore per me – ha dichiarato il creativo, nato a Pesaro nel 1973, che debutta a Milano – poter sfilare all’interno dello spazio di Giorgio Armani, lo stilista che più di ogni altro ha dettato lo stile italiano nel mondo. Lo ringrazio profondamente per questa opportunità e per il suo supporto, che rappresenta un sostegno reale e importante per un brand giovane come il mio”.
La nuova iniziativa continuerà anche per la donna con un nuovo nome ancora top secret.

Besides the collections of his brands, every season Giorgio Armani will host, at his theatre on Via Bergognone in Milan, the runway shows of emerging Italian designers, starting with Andrea Pompilio, during the next Milan Fashion Week, whose show is scheduled on June 22 at 11:30.
“We need concrete actions to support Italian fashion,” said Armani “initiatives that give more strength and a feeling of novelty to Milan’s Fashion Week. It is for this reason that I decided to make my theatre on Via Bergognone available for the fashion shows of some of the most promising designers, who can count on my building’s technical services. So I invited Andrea Pompilio to present his menswear line; he will inaugurate this initiative, each season will feature different guests.”
“It’s a huge honour for me to present my collection at Giorgio Armani’s venue,” said the designer who was born in Pesaro in 1973 and debuts in Milan. “He’s a designer who has dictated Italian style on a global level more than any other. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and to Giorgio Armani for his support, which represents significant support for a young brand.”
The new initiative will continue with womenswear, although the designer’s name has not been revealed yet.
