After his death, Alexander McQueen became to me nicer and nicer: it was so tender to me his suicide after the mother was dead (I' m a "mammone" too), it impressed me his coerence: his collections were the mirror of a sad man. I understood that his will to bring skulls, symbol of street style, to the fashion was coerence with his style. But I did it after he was dead.
His last willing make me smile (he left many moneys to his dogs and to animal founds), and, at least, I loved the creations of his brand, were they designed by himself or Sarah Burton.
Per questo, in occasione di una prossima gitarella a Londra, ho deciso di dedicargli un piccolo post con tutti i suoi capi e accessori che più mi piacciono.
For this, and also because I'm going to London this week, I deciced to make a little post all for him.
Cardigan
Potrei continuare così a lungo... ho solo il sospetto che a Londra potrei fare un danno... ma mi toccherà scegliere: Lanvin, McQueen, Vilebrequin...in...in...in... perchè mi torturano così!?
I may continue for so long... I just think in London I could make a little damage to my wallet. But I'll have to chose: Lanvin, McQueen, Vilebrequin... why are they all against me and my walllet?
Ps.: il titolo è in francese perchè mi andava. Comunque McQueen significherebbe, in italiano, qualcosa come "De Regina". Roy, in francese, è "re". Buffo, no? ;-)
Ps.: the title is in French. Why? Just because I wanted. However roy means king, so it sounds like "McQueen, The king". Funny! ;-)
