La street art è la rivelazione di una nuova creatività collettiva e spesso anonima, che reinventa gli spazi naturali e urbani, spesso donando nuova vita a luoghi abbandonati. Per le nuove generazioni l'arte urbana è un fenomeno molto seguito e apprezzato e molte volte svela dei piccoli grandi capolavori, allontanandosi dallo stereotipo di arte che sporca l'ambiente, di graffito invasore. Soprattutto i migliori  3D street painting, moderni trompe l’oeil realizzati su muri e superficie esterne o direttamente sul manto stradale, e in cui Joe Hill è stato il recordman, ci lasciano troppe volte senza fiato. Il più conosciuto tra gli street artist è sicuramente Bansky, un artista inglese d'identità sconosciuta. Le sue opere sono spesso a sfondo satirico con temi che vanno dalla politica all'etica e la tecnica che preferisce per i suoi lavori di guerrilla art è da sempre lo stencil, che grazie a lui è diventato molto popolare tra tutti gli street artists internazionali. I suoi stencil hanno cominciato ad apparire proprio a Bristol, e per questo si dice che sia originario di lì, poi anche a Londra, in particolare nelle zone a nordest, e a seguire nelle maggiori capitali europee, ma non solo sui muri delle strade, bensì anche nei posti più impensabili come le gabbie dello zoo di Barcellona.A questo proposito una comunità che si ingrandisce a vista d'occhio nei principali social , I support street art, sta diventando un punto di riferimento per chi ama e studia questa corrente artistica in tutto il mondo, pubblicando e collezionando quotidianamente fotografie di tutte le migliori creazioni di questi artisti  in album sempre aggiornati.
