H&M ha annunciato la consueta collaborazione dell’autunno con un designer famoso: per la prossima stagione toccherà alla stilista parigina Isabel Marant cimentarsi con delle collezioni per il noto marchio di fast fashion. Con il suo

stile semplice e rilassato, Isabel Marant ha creato il look “Paris chic”. Mischiando urban look, eleganza boho e spirito rock, Isabel Marant realizza capi dalla genuina e affascinante allure francese. Per H&M il guardaroba sarà composto da pezzi ispirati all’inconfondibile stile della sua maison. Disponibile dal 14 novembre 2013 in circa 250 negozi nel mondo e online, la collezione propone capi e accessori per donne e teenager. Per la prima volta, inoltre, Isabel Marant disegnerà anche una collezione maschile.
“Sono lusingata per questa collaborazione: H&M lavora con i migliori stilisti, per cui questo invito è per me un grande onore. Il mio obiettivo sarà quello di creare qualcosa di vero, che le donne vogliano indossare nella loro vita quotidiana, con una certa noncuranza, che mi pare essere un tratto molto parigino: ci si veste di tutto punto, senza però prestarci molta attenzione, ma avendo comunque un aspetto sexy. La collezione è tutta imbevuta di questo tipo di atteggiamento e di rilassatezza. Tutto può essere mixato seguendo i propri istinti: al centro della mia moda sta la personalità”, ha dichiarato Isabel Marant.
“Siamo eccitati all’idea di avere Isabel Marant come guest designer di H&M. Il modo in cui mescola diversi elementi nelle sue collezioni, creando uno stile urbano e apparentemente semplice, la rende estremamente contemporanea. Ha un occhio fantastico per i dettagli etnici e possiede la rara capacità di creare cose che le persone desiderano veramente indossare. Siamo sicuri che i clienti di H&M saranno entusiasti di questa collezione”, ha affermato Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor di H&M.
Nata e cresciuta a Parigi, Isabel Marant ha cominciato a personalizzare i propri abiti quando ancora frequentava le scuole superiori. Diplomatasi al famoso Studio Berçot, Marant si è fatta strada nel fashion system cominciando con una linea di gioielleria, aggiungendo poi il knitwear, per lanciare infine, nel 1994, l’etichetta che porta il suo nome. Oggi è alla guida di una casa di moda dal successo internazionale, con boutique in diverse parti del mondo. I suoi look “chic parigini”, un mix tra stile bohémien e sartorialità maschile, stanno diventando sempre più popolari di stagione in stagione.

H&M announced its autumn collaboration with a famous designer: this time it will be Parisian designer Isabel Marant’s turn to present her collections for the famous brand of fast fashion. With her effortless style, Isabel Marant has created a widely influential and successful take on Paris chic. Mixing urban attitude, boho elegance and rock ’n’ roll spirit, she delivers a genuine French allure. For H&M, Isabel Marant will create a wardrobe of pieces inspired by her signature style. Available from November 14, 2013, in around 250 stores worldwide and online, the collection features clothing and accessories for women and teenagers. Isabel will also, for the first time, create a collection for men.
“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality,” says Isabel Marant.

Born and raised in Paris, Isabel Marant started customising her own clothes while still at high school. A graduate of the famed Studio Berçot, Marant worked her way up the fashion system starting with a jewellery line, then adding knitwear, finally launching her eponymous collection in 1994. Today she runs an internationally successful fashion powerhouse with a string of boutiques worldwide. Her Parisian chic style, a mix of bohemia and masculine tailoring, grows in popularity season after season.
