Io mi fermerei in tutti. Si, ho detto tutti. Calamitata e stregata irrimediabilmente fin da quando ero bambina. I lunghi viaggi in autostrada, i chilometri che scorrono veloci ed all'improvviso lui. L'autogrill. Un microcosmo che riesce sempre ad accendere la mia curiosità, incantata a guardare tra gli scaffali senza perdermi un viso, senza riuscire a smettere di immaginare le vite delle persone che vedo, chiedendomi cosa li ha spinti a mettersi in viaggio proprio quel giorno, a fermarsi proprio in quell'autogrill. Magari il lavoro, la famiglia, l'amore, l'amicizia o un sogno che per essere raggiunto ha bisogno di una piccola pausa o di un semplice caffè. Proprio lì dove tutti, per lo spazio di 10 minuti o poco più, apparteniamo allo stesso mondo ristretto e non importa da dove veniamo o dove stiamo andando. Il senso di libertà che mi trasmette il viaggio è incredibilmente forte e l'autogrill è sempre stato nel mio immaginario di bambina, uno dei simboli di questo viaggiare.

A microcosm that surprise me every time, I stay enchanted in front of every ledge, I cannot stop to imagine the life of people that I see, asking me why they start this trip and why they stop in this highway. The freedom feeling that trip give to me is very strong and the highway stop was always in my baby imaginary one of the symbol of this journey.
