Secondo indiscrezioni, Marios Schwab, ex direttore creativo di Halston, sarebbe entrato a far parte del team di Maison Martin Margiela con un ruolo “senior” ma ancora nessuna comunicazione ufficiale è arrivata della griffe di rue Saint Maur.
Il portavoce dello stilista greco-austriaco ha preferito non commentare. Invece, da Maison Martin Margiela hanno sottolineato la natura collettiva dello studio interno di design con un gruppo di creativi di lunga data che si arricchisce regolarmente di nuovi collaboratori. Il marchio è rimasto senza direttore creativo da quando l’omonimo fondatore ha lasciato nel dicembre 2009 e si è deciso di non sostituirlo.

According to rumours, Marios Schwab, the former creative director of Halston, reportedly joined the Maison Martin Margiela’s design team with a “senior” position but no statement has been released from the fashion house based at rue Saint Maur.
A spokesperson for the Greek-Austrian designer declined to comment. Instead, Maison Martin Margiela emphasised the collective nature of the in-house design studio with members of long standing that it feeds regularly with new contributors. The brand has been without a creative director since its eponymous founder left in December 2009 and it was decided that he would not be replaced.
