The fourth week of my challenge! (Here are weeks number one, two and three.) The weather has gotten very chilly again and I had to take out some warmer clothing from the winter stuff I'd already packed away.

Erm... non sono sicurissima se questo vale come parte della sfida, ma avevo voglia di cambiare un poco. (E se non vale, per il resto della giornata ho indossato la maglietta del giorno seguente che vale.) Poi ero contentissima di finalmente tornare in piscina dopo circa 4 settimane di assenza grazie a malattia mia e poi di mio figlio. Ho notato solo dopo quanto facesse schifo quello specchio. Chissà da quanto tempo non l'avevano pulito...

Um... I'm not sure if this really counts as part of the challenge, but I wanted a little change. (And if it doesn't count, I wore the next day's t-shirt for the rest of the day, and that does count!) Plus I was really happy to have finally gone back to the pool after about 4 weeks of skipping because of my and my son's illnesses. I only noticed afterwards how gross that mirror was. Who knows how long it had been since they'd last cleaned it...

Prima che cominciasse la pioggia, siamo riusciti a fare una passeggiata sul molo di Bagnoli, Napoli. E' bellissimo: un molo lungo un kilometro che va diritto nel mare dal ex-Italsider (del quale si vedono ancora alcuni resti e anche da cui avevano costruito la Città della Scienza, recentemente incendiata.)

Before it started raining, we managed to take a walk on the pier in Bagnoli, Naples. It's gorgeous: a 1-km-long pier going straight into the sea from the ex-Italsider steel factory (of which you can still see some remains and also from which the science museum La Città della Scienza, recently destroyed by arson, had been built.)

Qui si vede come il molo va nel mare, con i Campi Flegrei e le isole di Procida ed Ischia nello sfondo. Una passeggiata bellissima e un posto perfetto per far correre all'impazzita i bimbi!
Here you can see how the pier goes out into the sea, with the Campi Flegrei and the islands of Procida and Ischia in the background. A beautiful walk and great place for kids to run wildly!
May 26:
Scusate la foto schifosa, il posto bruttissimo e la posa cretina. Stava scendendo il sole quindi dovevo fare la foto in fretta. Poi mia figlia e suo cugino hanno richiesto che facessi la posa sulla scala. Non importa. Oramai la mia dignità è già stata compromessa troppe volte... ad esempio nella foto nello spogliatoio! Haha!

Pardon the hideous picture, the ugly setting and the idiotic pose. The sun was quickly going down and I needed to get a picture taken quickly. Then my daughter and her cousin requested me to pose as if I were climbing up the ladder. Oh well. My dignity has already been stepped all over enough times... for example in that picture in the pool changing room! Ha ha!
