Marcelo Burlon joins the ranks of designers who are trying to change the rules of the runway, canceling the female presentation of Country of Milan which was supposed to take place Saturday, February 27th during Milan fashion week.
“We sat down and we tried to figure out the best way to reorganize our shows and optimize the budgets we allocate to brand image, development and communication — also considering what other brands like Tom Ford and Burberry are doing,” Burlon told WWD.com
The designer will shoot a look book and a video to be sent to journalists and shared on social media.
Marcelo Burlon si unisce alla schiera di stilisti che stanno cercando di cambiare le regole della passerella, cancellando la presentazione femminile di Country of Milan che si sarebbe dovuta tenere sabato 27 Febbraio durante la settimana della moda milanese.
"Stiamo cercando il modo migliore di riorganizzare il calendario delle nostre sfilate, ottimizzando i budget e tenendo in considerazione le scelte prese da altri marchi come Tom Ford e Burberry", ha raccontato Burlon a WWD.com.
