Milano Design Weekend! 14-17 ottobre

Dal 14 al 17 ottobre (scusate per il ritardo nella pubblicazione) si è svolto un evento imperdibile per tutti gli amanti del design e dell'architettura: il Milano Design Weekend!! Durante questa occasione i più importanti brand che si occupano di design hanno aperto le porte dei loro negozi, proponendo le loro collezioni. Alcune tra gli oggetti in vendita presentavano prezzi speciali pensati per questa iniziativa, di modo da rendere più fruibile il design. In molti dei negozi sono stati preparati allestimenti e mostre. Il tema di base è stato: "L'arte di vivere, una nuova intimità".
Ma non è finito qui! Moltissimi sono stati gli eventi in programma e le possibilità di conoscere meglio il panorama architettonico e del design milanese. Tra le iniziative più interessanti, vi è stata la possibilità di visitare 5 tra gli hotel più suggestivi e di design di Milano, arricchiti da istallazioni temporanee. Ecco l'elenco degli hotel: Boscolo Exedra, Straf Hotel, Starhotels Rosa Grand, Nhow Hotel, Maison Moschino, Giulio Iacchetti (io ho visitato il Boscolo Exedra).
E' stato inoltre possibile assistere a lezioni in alcuni ville e palazzi storici:
il Museo Bagatti Valsecchi,Villa Necchi Campiglio,Casa Boschi di Stefano,Museo Poldi Pezzoli.
Altra tappa imprescindibile, ovviamente, il museo della Triennale! Ciò che mi è dispiaciuto di più è non essere riuscito a visitare gli studi di architettura che in questo periodo, su prenotazione, apriano le loro porte al pubblico.

Per quanto mi riguarda è stata un'esperienza formativa! Più che gli oggetti di design in sè mi sono concentrata molto anche sul modo in cui erano mostrati, sull'organizzazione degli spazi espositivi e su come venivano attirati i visitatori!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------From October 14 to 17 (sorry for the delay in publication), there has been a must for all lovers of design and architecture: Milano Design Weekend! During this event the most important brands involved in design have opened the doors of their shops, showing their collections. Some of the objects had special prices for this initiative, to make design closer to people. In many of the shops were prepared also exhibitions. The theme was: "The art of living, a new intimacy."There were many events in program and opportunity to learn more about architecture and design in Milan. Among the most interesting initiatives, there was the chance to visit five of the most charming and design hotel in Milan, enhanced by temporary installations. Here is the list of Hotels: Boscolo Exedra, Straf Hotel, Starhotels Rosa Grand Nhow Hotel Maison Moschino, Giulio Iacchetti (I visited the Boscolo Exedra). It was also possible to attend classes in some villas and historic buildings: Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, Villa Necchi Campiglio, Casa Boschi di Stefano, Museo Poldi Pezzoli. Another essential step, of course, the Triennale museum! What I regret most is not being able to visit the studios of some architects, that, in this period, by appointment, opened their doors to the public.I present to you some pictures from outside the shops visited with an invitation to search for information about their collections. For me it was an educational experience! More than the design objects in themselves, I concentrated very well on the way they were shown, on the organization of exhibition spaces and how they attracted visitors.I hope you can also affect this post, focused less on fashion and more about these passions, important for me! kisses!
