My Christmas holidays in Paris

No, non sono sparita, ma mi sono assentata soltanto per un pò. Mi sono lasciata trasportare per sei giorni nella Villa Lumière, più magica che mai durante il periodo natalizio. Ci sono mille ragioni per cui Parigi va vista almeno una volta (per me è la seconda): gli immensi boulevard illuminati, la moda, l'architettura e l'arte, i quartieri tipicamente parigini, i tanti caffè che ti accolgono, quando il freddo diventa pungente, la sua golosa gastronomia ed infine, se si vuole anche solo per un giorno ritornare all'infanzia spensierata, basta dirigersi ad uno dei più famosi parchi divertimento, Disneyland, facilmente raggiungibile dal centro. Visitate pure tutti i simboli noti di questa città, ma non dimenticate di perdervi nelle sue viuzze meno conosciute, per scoprire ed assaporare l'essenza della vera Parigi!

No, they are gone, but I was only absent for a while. I got carried away for six days in the City of Light, more magical than everduring the Christmas period. There are a thousand reasons whyParis should be seen at least once (for me is the second): the immense boulevard lit, fashion, architecture and art, traditional Parisian neighborhoods, the many cafes that greet you when cold becomes pungent, delicious cuisine and his last, even if you wanta carefree childhood days back, just go to one of the mostfamous amusement parks, Disneyland, easily accessible from downtown. Visit all the well-known symbols of this city, but do not forget to get lost in his lesser-known streets, to discover andsavor the true essence of Paris!

Place de la Bastille(fate un salto nelle stradine adiacenti:Rue de Lappe, Rue de la Roquette, Rue de Charonne, Rue Keller e Viaduc Des Arts e non dimenticatevi  del mercato all'aperto Marché Bastille/ take a trip in the surrounding streets: Rue de Lappe, Rue de la Roquette, Rue de Charonne, Rue Keller and  Viaduc Des Arts and don't forget the outdoor market Marché Bastille)

Musée du Louvre(Alle spalle del museo fate un salto a Rue Rivoli, Rue Etienne Marcel, Rue Montmatre e Rue Tiquetonne, dove troverete un infinità di negozi di ogni genere e anche locali e ristoranti vari/behind the museum, hop over to Rue Rivoli, Rue Etienne Marcel,Rue Montmartre and Rue Tiquetonne, where you will find a multitude of shops of all kinds as well as various bars and restaurants)

Crème brulée at Hyppopotamus Restaurant(good quality but cheap)(una crema super golosa/ a super tasty cream) 
Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel(adiacente al Louvre/ near to Louvre)


Jardin des Tuileries (Bellissimi giardini, che circondano il Palais du Louvre/ beautiful gardens, that surround the Palais du Louvre)


Les Arts Décoratifs(Tre musei in uno all'interno del Palais du Louvre: arte dal Medioevo ad oggi, museo della pubblicità ed infine quello della moda e del tessuto/ Three museums in one inside the Palais du Louvre: Art from theMiddle Ages to today, the adverise and the fashion and fabric museums)





Pont Neuf(Uno dei ponti più antichi della città, dal quale potrete ammirare il fiume La Senna e la cattedrale gotica/One of the oldest bridges in the city, where you can enjoy the river Seine and the Gothic cathedral)

Palais de Justice

Centre Pompidou(Centro di arte e cultura dall'architettura innovativa, nel quale sono esposte opere d'arte dedicate ai surrealisti, cubisti, pop art e contemporanea/Center for Arts and Culture by innovative architecture, in which are works of art dedicated to the surrealist, cubist, pop art and contemporary)

Place Igor Stravinsky(Piazza a sud del centro Pompidou con fantasiose fontane meccaniche/ Square to the south of Centre Pompidou with fanciful mechanical fountains)


Forum des Halles(Centro commerciale con piani sotteranei/ shopping center with underground floors)


Place Vendome(Piazza che ospita alcune delle gioiellerie più eleganti della città/ Square, which houses some of the city's most elegant jewelry)

Place du Jour(Piazza con simpatica scultura e alle cui spalle c'è la chiesa di Saint-Eustache, anch'essa gotica/Square with nice sculpture and behind which is the church of Saint-Eustache, also gothic)



Rue Montorgueil(Strada pedonale nel quartiere Les Halles, dove i parigini adorano acquistare generi alimentari/Pedestrian street in the district of Les Halles, where Parisians love to buy groceries)
