Northen Women In Chanel

Ecco cosa succede quando una coppia creativa collabora con una delle più grandi case di moda francese.Il progetto Northen Women in Chanel nasce nel 2010, quando la stylist svedese Ingela Klementz-Farago e suo marito, il fotografo di origini ungheresi Peter Farago, iniziano una collaborazione con il marchio francese Chanel tanto difficile quanto affascinante.   
That's what happens when a creative couple works with one of the biggest French fashion house.
The project Women in Northern Chanel was born in 2010, when the Swedish stylist Ingela Klementz-Farago and her husband, Hungarian-born photographer Peter Farago, starting a collaboration with the French brand Chanel as difficult as it is fascinating.Il risultato è un esposizione innaugurata i primi di Luglio al museo fotografico Fotografiska a Stoccolma e un look book con 600 pagine. La serie ritrae 45 modelle internazionali famose di origini Scandinave e Baltiche, e circa 500 pezzi delle collezioni haute couture Chanel, scattate durante l'autunno e l'inverno in viaggio attraverso l'Europa.
The result is an exhibition, which was inaugurated in early July at the photographic museum Fotografiska in Stockholm, and a lookbook with 600 pages. The photo series features 45 internationally known models of Scandinavian and Baltic descent, and about 500 haute couture pieces from Chanel, and will during the fall and winter travel through Europe.

The project is one of a kind in more than one way. The usual contemporary Northern beauty has been placed in a greater historical perspective, and invites the viewer for a journey through time, with many easily discernible Scandinavian cultural phenomena.
