Oggi, 22 Maggio, il Bar Frankie fa  gli auguri a Novak Djokovic, che compie 26 anni.

E’ lui ormai da tempo il miglior tennista al mondo, vincitore di 6 tornei del grande Slam, con un debole per gli Australian Open, vinti ben 4 volte, manca solo il Roland Garros per completare il suo palmares.

Il 2011 è stato UN anno memorabile per lui, dove oltre a raggiungere per la prima volta il Nr.1 del Ranking Mondiale, ha vinto ben 3 tornei dello Slam in una sola stagione, solo tennisti del calibro di Connors, Wilander, Federer e Nadal erano riusciti in un’impresa simile.

Giocatore completo, capace di vincere su tutte le superfici, fa della potenza e della profondità dei suoi colpi il proprio punto di forza,  il suo rovescio bimane è entrato di  diritto (scusate il gioco di parole J ) nella storia del Tennis !

Nel suo palmares vanta 37 vittorie, fra cui oltre ai già citati 6 Tornei dello Slam, anche 2 Masters Cup  (Shangai 2008 e Londra 2012) e 14 ATP World Tour Master, tra cui 3 volte Miami e Toronto, 2 volte Indian Wells e 2 volte ha trionfato a Roma (2008 e 2011), mentre recentemente si è affermato per la prima volta sulla “prestigiosa” terra rossa di Montecarlo togliendo il titolo a Nadal dopo 8 vittorie consecutive del tennista Spagnolo !
