Pasqua in Trentino // Easter holiday in Trentino

Qualche sera fa aprendo la posta ho trovato tra le email la newsletter della Val di Sole, cui mi ero iscritta nel 2010 per organizzare la mia prima vacanza in Trentino. Di solito non faccio molta attenzione alle email promozionali che ricevo, soprattutto perchè non posso partire per tutte le destinazioni che vengono proposte… ma di quella in particolare ho sentito il richiamo, avvertendo quasi la necessità di dare un’attenta occhiata all’offerta. E che offerta, ragazzi!

Si tratta di un soggiorno speciale di tre o sette giorni da passare presso l’Hotel Pangrazzi a Fucine di Ossana (TN), a scelta nel periodo del carnevale o a Pasqua. Anche se avrei bisogno di un viaggetto in tempi rapidi, purtroppo la fine di febbraio non è il momento ideale per avventurarmi in montagna. Il periodo di Pasqua, invece, cascava quasi a fagiolo. Quindi sono passata a leggere per bene l’offerta, che comprende:

• mezza pensione
• sistemazione in camera “Superior”
• ricco buffet a colazione, cena con tre portate
• buffet di antipasti
• buffet di verdure
• cena Solandra con degustazione di prodotti tipici e musica dal vivo
• ingresso gratuito al centro relax “Le tre Genzianelle” (sauna finlandese, cabina polisensoriale, bagno turco alle essenze alpine, piscina con idromassaggio, percorso kneipp, degustazione tisane)
  
• servizio di ski bus per le stazioni sciistiche di Marilleva-Folgarida, Pejo e Passo del Tonale.

Quando ho letto che un trattamento del genere per un soggiorno di 3 notti dal 6 al 9 aprile costava solo 130,00 €, non solo ho iniziato a farci un pensierino ma ero quasi lì lì per prenotare. Dovevo solo capire qualche dettaglio, tipo dove si trova esattamente Fucine di Ossana e con chi sarei potuta partire. Dopo una veloce ricerca su internet ho scoperto che Fucine si trova vicinissima a Peio, dove saprei tornare anche a occhi chiusi. A Peio Fonti ho passato una fantastica settimana nel 2010 e di recente ho scoperto che vi si trova una fattoria che alleva mucche delle Highlands… cioè… potranno esserci delle mucche scozzesi in Trentino e io, pur essendoci passata vicino, non ne ho mai saputo nulla? Insomma, la decisione era quasi presa, mancava solo qualche accompagnatore.
Ho avanzato la proposta alle due compagne che avevano condiviso con me la prima avventura trentina, alias Monica e Cristina. Pensavo di dover faticare un po’ di più per convincerle, invece manco a farlo apposta appena lanciata la proposta è bastata una visita al sito internet dell’albergo per avere conferma pressoché immediata che potevo prenotare la stanza… D’altronde, come si fa a dire di no al Trentino? Alla possibilità di tranquille passeggiate tra le Dolomiti? A un ritorno a Il cantuccio nella mitica Peio Fonti, magari a trovare Enzo (che sono quasi certa si ricorderà perfettamente di noi)? Al relax che potremo concederci tra una sauna e un bagno in piscina? Al pensiero di poter assaggiare di nuovo le specialità solandre e i fantastici dolci della “Nonna” (pasticceria di Peio, n.d.a.)?

Ragazzi, è inutile dirvi che noi abbiamo già prenotato il nostro weekend lungo di Pasqua all’Hotel Pangrazzi, no? Se anche voi volete regalarvi un soggiorno in Val di Sole, considerate che le condizioni di cui sopra sono valide sia per lo “Speciale Carnevale”, 7 giorni dal 18 al 25 febbraio, a 386,00 €, sia per lo “Speciale Pasqua”, 7 giorni dal 31 marzo al 7 aprile, a 299,00 €, oppure 3 giorni dal 6 al 9 aprile, a 130,00 €. Io ho già prenotato, voi che aspettate?

Opening my email box a few nights ago I found the Val di Sole Newsletter among several other emails. I subscribed to the newsletter in 2010 when I was planning my first trip to Trentino. I usually don’t pay much attention to promotional emails, mainly because I am well aware that I couldn’t just leave and reach anytime all the destinations on offer… but there was something peculiar in that email and I felt like I had to read very carefully what was on offer. And that was a remarkable offer indeed, guys!

In fact you can choose between a 3-day or a 7-day stay at the Hotel Pangrazzi in Fucine di Ossana (TN), during the Carnival or at Easter. Well… I’d need and love to take a vacation shortly, but end of February is not the most suitable period to go to the mountains, at least not for me. Easter seemed to perfectly suit me instead, so I went on reading the offer which includes what follows:

Special meal of typical local products and live music

Can you believe that a 3-day stay from 6 to 9 April including all of this only costs 130,00 €? Not only did I began thinking seriously about it, but I was about to book a room! I just needed to settle some details, such as where exactly Fucine di Ossana is and whom could I ask to accompany me. A quick Google search revealed that Fucine is next to Peio, a location I could reach alone with no worries of getting lost. I spent an amazing week in Peio Fonti in 2010 and I recently discovered that a farm breeding Highland cows is located exactly there… I mean… how could there be Highland cows in Trentino and I’ve never heard about them? That said my decision was almost taken… I only missed some good company.
I made the proposal to the two mates who shared my first experience in Trentino, alias Monica and Cristina. I thought it would have required me much more efforts to persuade them, but a quick visit to the hotel website did it. I got an almost immediate confirmation that they were ready to book the room too! Seriously, how could anyone say no to Trentino? You have the chance to quietly walk on the Dolomiti; if you go back to Peio Fonti you could visit Enzo and have a rest at Il cantuccio (I am pretty sure Enzo kept good memories of the three of us); you could have very good time relaxing with a sauna or at the swimming pool; you could taste typical local products again as well as the delicious “Grandma’s” cakes (“Grandma” is an excellent pastry shop in Peio).

That’s how we booked an Easter weekend at Hotel Pangrazzi. It couldn’t be easier, could it? Are you eager to spend some days in Val di Sole as well? Consider that the above conditions apply to either the “Special Carnival” offer – 7-day stay from 18 to 25 February costs 386,00 € – and the “Special Easter” offer – 7-day stay from 31 March to 7 April costs 299,00 €, whilst 3-day stay from 6 to 9 April costs 130,00 €.
