Piazza Sempione - A Tale of Beauty and Poetry

Today, I'm gonna tell you a story. One of those stories that tastes of poetry.
Oggi vi racconterò una storia. Uno di quei racconti antichi dal retrogusto poetico.


This story, called Back Home, a Tale of Beauty and Poetry, tells about enchanted places, fantastic ambiences and beautiful clothes.
Questa storia, intitolata Back Home, a Tale of Beauty and Poetry, narra di luoghi incantati, atmosfere fantastiche e abiti raffinati.

It's the tale narrated by Piazza Sempione during the presentation of the new 2011-12 A/W collection at La Casa dei Demoni, a marvellous eighteenth-century dwelling placed in the heart of Milan.
E' la poesia raccontata da Piazza Sempione durante la presentazione della nuova collezione A/I 2011-12, avvenuta una piovosa domenica di febbraio nella meravigliosa Casa dei Demoni, incantevole dimora settecentesca situata nel cuore di Milano.


Among suffused lights, nineteenth-century decorations and works of art of inestimable value (I was in a constant catatonic state), beautiful models wandered about the rooms wearing the pieces of a wonderful collection.
Tra luci soffuse, arredamento ottocentesco e opere d'arte d'inestimabile valore (ero in perenne stato catatonico), bellissime modelle si aggiravano languide per le stanze della casa indossando i pezzi di una collezione meravigliosa.


Autumnal colours, minimal attitude, geometrical figures and precious fabrics were the protagonists of this lovely tale.
Colori autunnali, mood minimal, silhouettes geometriche e tessuti ricercati sono stati il pezzo forte di questo meraviglioso racconto.


I immediately loved this collection so chic and at the same time contemporary, easy to wear and distant from current fashion hysteria.
Una collezione che ho amato fin da subito perché molto chic ma allo stesso tempo portabile, contemporanea e lontana dagli attuali isterismi modaioli.
