A meno di due settimane dall’inizio della nuova stagione le squadre stanno facendo le ultime operazioni di mercato con il Cardiff City che ha preso il forte difensore centrale del Tottenham Steven Caulker per 8 milioni di sterline.

Il West Brom ha ingaggiato l’esperto difensore uruguayano Diego Lugano dal Paris St-Germain a parametro zero dopo che aveva giocato in prestito l’ultima stagione al Malaga.

Il Crystal Palace prende lo svincolato centrocampista del Blackpool Elliot Grandin.

Lascia a sorpresa la Premier League l’americano Clint Dempsey che dopo un’ottima stagione al Tottenham va ai Seattle Sounders per 6 milioni.

Loic Remy sta eseguendo le visite mediche al Newcastle per la proposta di prestito dal Qpr, mentre Gervinho è approdato alla Roma dopo due stagioni con i Gunners ela mancata riconferma nei sui confronti dell’Arsenal.

Il Tottenham ha preso dal Valencia l’attaccante spagnolo Roberto Soldado  pagando la clausola rescissoria di 26 milioni, mentre finalmente il Chelsea ha alzato a 30 milioni l’offerta al Manchester United per Wayne Rooney, ma ancora, per adesso, è stata respinta dallo United.

Il tempo corre veloce, sono previste molte trattative nelle prossime settimane per arrivare pronti per la partenza del campionato.

 With less than 2 weeks to go before the start of the new season teams are adding the final touch’s to there squad’s and the last week has seen a fair bit of activity with Cardiff City signing Tottenham central defender Steven Caulker for 8 million pounds to boost there defensive ranks.

West Brom have signed Uruguayan defender Diego Lugano from Paris St-Germain on a free , the 32 year old was on loan at Malaga last season.

Crystal Palace have signed Blackpool midfielder Elliot Grandin on a free transfer.

Leaving the premier league tho is USA international forward Clint Dempsey who surprisingly leaves Tottenham to join Seattle Sounders for 6 million after just one season at White Hart Lane.

Loic Remy is today at Newcastle having a medical ahead of a proposed loan move from Qpr as Newcastle look to add the French striker to there ranks. Arsenal winger Gervinho is also having a medical at Roma after a mixed 2 years with the Gunners , The Ivory Coast international is set to join for 8 million as Arsenal’s summer clear out continues.

Tottenham have today clinched the 26 million signing of Spain striker Roberto Soldado from Valencia after meeting the 28 year old’s buy out clause and finally its being reported that Chelsea have made a second bid thought to be 30 million for Man United striker Wayne Rooney which has been rejected straight away.

Time is running out before the transfer window shuts so expect more activity in the next few weeks.
