Prêt-à-porter féminin à Paris

La Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter, des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode ha presentato il calendario degli appuntamenti della moda femminile distribuiti tra martedì 24 settembre e mercoledì 2 ottobre 2013.

The Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter, des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode presented the schedule for women’s fashion runway shows, which will take place between September 24 and October 2, 2013.

Novità anche a Parigi e, soprattutto, per quanto riguarda la distribuzione degli appuntamenti: non sarà più Elie Saab a chiudere le sfilate ma Hermès. Lo show dello stilista libanese è stato anticipato a lunedì pomeriggio in un orario precedentemente impegnato da Chloé in scena domenica al posto di Costume National, tornato a Milano dopo 22 anni.
Confermata per martedì sera la passerella di Alexander McQueen, dopo la pausa legata alla gravidanza di Sarah Burton, mentre rimane in forse quella di Loewe che presenterà l’ultima collezione disegnata da Stuart Vevers. Alla sua prima prova, invece, Julien Dossena che ha sostituito Lydia Maurer da Paco Rabanne.
E se, dopo il debutto fuori calendario della scorsa stagione, viene ufficializzata la presenza di Zadig & Voltaire nella giornata di martedì, Jimmy K.W. Chan, ceo di Semeiotics, annuncia che Rue du Mail, non sfilerà questa stagione: la griffe francese che fa capo alla società è stata, infatti, congelata per il momento in attesa di valutare i possibili sbocchi in termini di prodotto e di distribuzione. La flessione economica ha colpito anche il marchio che porta il nome della strada parigina in cui si trova lo studio di creazione, nato nel 2006 su idea di Martine Sitbon dopo la chiusura della linea omonima.

Novelties in Paris as well, in particular regarding the arrangement of fashion shows: not Elie Saab but Hermès will be the last one. The fashion show of the Lebanese designer has been anticipated to Monday afternoon, at a time previously reserved to Chloé, which will now present in place of Costume National, which has come back to Milan after 22 years.
Alexander McQueen has been confirmed on Tuesday evening, after Sarah Burton’s pregnancy, while Loewe’s show, presenting Stuart Vevers’ last collection, is still in doubt. Julien Dossena, instead, is expected for his debut at the creative helm of Paco Rabanne, where he replaced Lydia Maurer.
And while Zadig & Voltaire’s presence has been officialised, after its debut off the calendar last season, Jimmy K.W. Chan, CEO of Semeiotics, announces that Rue du Mail will not hold a fashion show this season: the French fashion house belonging to the company, in fact, has been momentarily suspended in order to consider possible solution concerning product and distribution. The financial crisis has affected the brand which bears the name of the Parisian street where the creative studio of the brand – established by Martine Sitbon in 2006, after the closure of her eponymous label – is located.
