Rifugio per ratti

Non sapevo che già esistesse un rifugio per i ratti, anche se lo avevo pensato, ma chissà perché nessuno se ne occupa.
Anche il titolo è già abbastanza esemplicativo! Infatti sono gli ultimi, i piu’ disprezzati, gli ultimi; anche se i primi a fare una morte crudele in nome della Scienza, che è in realtà vivisezione dalla quale sempre piu’ ricercatori che cominciano ad aprire i loro occhi, se ne allontanano ( ne parlerò prossimamente in un intero capitolo ) I ratti sono anche loro animali simpaticissimi e di compagnia, sono capaci di ridere, vedi l’ articolo: “ i topi ridono “ in questo blog. I ratti sono molto belli: possono essere tutti bianchi con gli occhi rosa o rossi, oppure bianchi e neri o bianchi e grigi con gli occhi neri. Viso appuntito, naso sempre in movimento, zampe posteriori robuste che permettono loro di spiccare salti; curiosissimi, attenti, vivaci, buffi, simpatici. Aggiungete con molta attenzione nuovi membri dopo che si è stabilito il gruppo. Vanno osservati a lungo … Per capire se la nuova gerarchia può funzionare.. E nessuno sia vittima della prepotenza di un leader.
Generalmente trascorrono la giornata dormendo e sono attivi la sera/notte.
Dedicano molto tempo alla pulizia del pelo (in barba alla storia che sono animali “sporchi” … Al contrario sono molto schizzinosi quando vengono toccati con le mani come quasi a chiedere ” Ma dove le hai messe le mani?”), all’alimentazione e alla “costruzione del nido”.
L’associazione ha già salvato:
– circa 6.000 topi
– circa 250 ratti
– circa 550 cavie
– 4 gatti femmina di 6-7 anni
Una volta sistemati questi 7000 animali la lotta non finisce. Usciranno ancora altri animali, purtroppo perchè la vivisezione non finisce domani, per fortuna perchè sono vite salvate.
Coordinatore dello straordinario progetto è il Dott. MASSIMO TETTAMANTI, che, nella sola Italia, ha già salvato 10.136 animali.
