RECENSIONE: THE UGLY TRUTH (LA DURA VERITÀ)

Buongiorno Fanciulle!

Oggi si apre una nuova rubrica, SHOW BIZ!, incentrata su tutto ciò che riguarda il mondo dello spettacolo. Ci saranno review, news, curiosità… Lo show business è una delle mie passioni, soprattutto quello americano e quello inglese, e mi fa piacere condividere le mie passioni anche con voi ^_^ Che ne pensate?

Detto questo…possiamo cominciare!

Ci sono quei film che non importa quante volte li hai visti, non importa se sai tutte (o quasi) le battute a memoria, se ti capita, DEVI vederli! Perchè ti fanno ridere, piangere, ti emozionano, ti ricordano qualcosa in particolare, c’è quell’attore che ti attizza incredibilmente, … insomma, è più forte di te!

Io ne ho diversi, fin da bambina. Oggi parleremo del film LA DURA VERITÀ! L’avete visto?? Come no?? Ok, fuori da questo blog!! :D No no, scherzo ovviamente ^_^ Anzi, alla fine di questo post sarai talmente eccitata che vorrai “fartelo” immediatamente!! :D Capirai cosa significa…ihih!!

LA DURA VERITÀ (THE UGLY TRUTH) è un film del 2009, diretto da Robert Luketic. Protagonisti, la bella dottoressa Izzie di Grey’s Anatomy, Katherine Heigl, e il sex symbol (molto sex e molto symbol :p) Gerard Butler, che ha già fatto sognare orgasmi a noi fanciulle con ruoli come Leonida in 300 e l’enigmatico protagonista nella trasposizione cinematografica del 20014 de Il Fantasma dell’Opera.

Abby Ritcher (Heigl) è una produttrice tv di un talk show mattutino. Quando il programma subisce un calo di ascolti, è costretta a dare spazio allo spudorato Mike Chadway (Butler) che, senza troppi giri di parole, promette di svelare cosa pensano uomini e donne sulle questioni di cuore e di letto, “La dura verità”. Abby, che ha un’idea completamente diversa e più romantica a riguardo, non sopporta nè Mike nè i suoi pensieri troppo cinici, aggrappandosi alla convinzione di tutte noi donne: “Gli uomini non sono tutti uguali!”. Ben presto scopre che non è proprio così ed è proprio a Mike che dovrà chiedere aiuto per conquistare Colin (Eric Winter), il bel dottore della porta accanto. Ci riuscirà? Come? E Mike?

Esilarante e sexy. Una guerra tra i sessi: da una parte, la donna romantica e un po’ insicura pensa ancora che esistano i principi delle favole, che l’uomo non pensi solo a quello, che ci sia altro; dall’altra, l’uomo che sa esattamente come condurre il gioco, per entrambi i sessi, ma che forse si perde qualcosina. I due personaggi si incontrano, si scontrano e imparano che al di fuori dei loro schemi, delle loro barriere sicure, c’è anche altro. Tutti e due, a loro modo, hanno la stessa paura: l’amore. Si gioca su elementi che molte volte non sono solo semplici stereotipi. È è una questione di ormoni, una cosa del tutto normale. Prima si accetta, meglio è per tutti. Anche se, realmente, la dura verità è molto più sfaccettata.

GUARDALO PERCHÈ…è divertente, romantico (a suo modo) e fa capire qualcosa in più su entrambi i sessi (ripeto, non solo stereotipi). E poi c’è Gerard Butler, in tutto il suo splendore. Tremendamente sexy (la scena del ballo in particolare), la sua ironia e il suo cinismo fanno ribaltare dalla sedia chiunque :D Anche Eric Winter fa la sua porca figura eh…e per chi invece preferisce il gentil sesso, Katherine Heigl ne è secondo me degna rappresentante :) E poi…insomma, se io e Stefano l’avremmo visto almeno 7 volte ci sarà un motivo, no?? :)

There’s movies that never mind how many times you’ve seen them, never mind if you know (almost) all lines by heart. If you have a chance, you MUST see them! Because they make you laugh, cry, they touch you, they remind you something particular, ther’s that sexy actor, …you can’t help seeing them!

I have several ones, since I was kid. Today we speak about THE UGLY TRUTH! Have you seen it?? No?? Ok, out of this blog!! :D No, just kidding ^_^ At the end of this post you’ll be so horny that you’ll want to “sleep with it” immediately!! :D You’ll understand what it means…hahaha!!

THE UGLY TRUTH (LA DURA VERITÀ in Italian language) is a 2009 movie, directed by Robert Luketic, starring the beautiful doc Izzie from Grey’s Anatomy, Katherine Heigl, and the sex symbol (very sex and very symbol :p) Gerard Butler, who has already provoked orgasms to us leadies with roles like Leonida in 300 snd the enigmatic protagonist in the movie transposition of The Phantom of the Opera, in 2004.

Abby Ritcher (Heigl) is a tv producer of a morning talk show. When a decline in audience affects the program, her boss hires the cheeky Mike Chadway (Butler) who, without beating around the bush, promises to reveal what men and women think about sex and love issues, “The ugly truth”. Abby, who has a completely different and more romantic idea of it, can’t suffer Mike and his cynical thoughts, as she’s convinced, like any other woman, that “men are not all the same!”. Soon she discovers that it’s not properly true. She has to ask for help to Mike for seducing Colin (Eric Winter), the charming doctor of the nex door. Will she succeed? How? And what about Mike?

Hot and hilarious. A war between sesxes: a romantic and a little insicure woman who still believes that fairytales princes really exist, that men doesn’t think only about “that”, there’s more. On the other side, a man who knows exactly how to run the show, for both, even if he probably misses something. The two characters meet and clash each other and learn that out of their schemes, their secure shields, there’s something else. They have the same fear: love. This movie is about stuff which often is not just a stereotype. It’s all about hormones, it’s normal. The earlier you can accept that, the better is. But, in reality, the ugly truth has more sides.

YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT BECAUSE…it’s funny, romantic (on its way) and let you understand something more about men and women (just said, not only stereotypes). Then, there’s Gerard Butler, in all of his beauty. He’s really really sexy (the dance scene in particular) and his irony and cynicism make you feel really h(orn)ot :D There’s also Eric Winter who is not bad at all…and, for who prefers the fair sex, Katherine Heigl is a respectful representative :) Then…ok, there will be a reason if Stefano and I watch it at least 7 times, isn’t it?? :)
