S/S 2013 fashion trends: modern bohemian

E' un'altro classico della moda estiva: il richiamo allo stile hippie/ bohemienne.
Adorato dalla maggior parte delle donnequesto sile viene riproposto praticamente ogni anno.
Ma stavolta è lontano dal replicare la moda di un'epoca, i sentimenti bohemien degli anni '60 e '70 vengono riversati in un prodotto moderno e ultra-lussuoso
Le tendenze della moda, si sa, tendono a tornare ciclicamnete, tuttavia il richiamo hippie per questa primavera /estate non è nulla del genere. Non è un riflesso speculare del passato, né una replica diretta di un'altra epoca, è un' approccio più sottile: un tornare alle origini solo per avere una migliore vsione su quello che verrà Certo rivisitare il vecchio non è un concetto rivoluzionario, ma è comunque notevole vedere come sia stata rimodellata la tradizione e trasformarta in qualcosa di moderno
Questo è ciò a cui abbiamo avuto modo di assistere in queste sfilate: una rivisitazione moderna dello stile bohemien; una sequenza di elementi caratteristici di questo stile mescolati con un intero spettro di altri stili ed influenze E la bellezza di tutto ciò è che questa operazione è stata eseguita con una tale raffinatezza da riuscire più lussuoso che mai.
Tutto, dai bellissimi cappelli floppy, alle stampe floreali, ai maxi abiti fluenti, ha ricevuto un tocco di lusso E nonostante tutto si vedono ancora i tratti tipici dello spirito hippie attraverso tutti i capi
Looking away from costume-like replications of an era, the bohemian sentiments of the 60s and 70s get a modern and ultra-luxurious reshaping for spring 2013. Subtly infusing garments with a hippie spirit, it's an evolution we can all embrace come the warmer weather.
Fashion trends do tend to come back in cycles, however the rendition of the hippie values for the spring of 2013 is nothing of that sort. Not a mirrored reflection of the past, nor a direct replication of another era, but more of a subtle approach that needs going back to the origins only to get a better view on what’s to come. The old made new is not a revolutionary concept, it is nonetheless substantial when instead of imitating yesterday’s weight, is keen on reshaping tradition and morphing into something even greater.
So what we got to witness at the spring 2013 fashion shows was a rather modern take on the bohemian flow; a continuous sequence of signature elements colliding with a full spectrum of other significant styles and influences. And the beauty of it all is that this whole act of reimagining the past was done with subtlety and came out looking more luxurious than ever before.
Everything from beautiful floppy hats, to feminine floral prints and flowy maxi dresses, got a luxurious make-over. And while they might not resemble the past boho accents in magnitude, we still see bits and pieces of the hippie spirit shining through each and every one of the following garments.
