The "boyfriend" phenomenon

Il guardaroba femminile fa sempre più riferimento al mondo maschile: i jeans, hanno aperto la strada, seguiti rapidamente dalle scarpe e pian piano si sta praticamente arrivando ad un'armadio comune tra uomo e donna.
L'abbigliamento da donna infatti sta attraversando una fase "maschile" senza precedenti!
E anche se potrebbe sembrare che non ci sia nulla di nuovo in questa incursione tra i capi di abbigliamento maschile, la differenza tra ora e quando Marlene Dietrich recitava in "Marocco" , quando Katharine Hepburn ha reso desiderabile il completo da uomo o anche quando Yves Saint Laurent portò alla ribalta lo smoking, è nel modo in cui il codice di abbigliamento maschile è stato adottato e reinterpretato .
Negli anni recenti la moda è stata caratterizzata dalla predominanza di look in color block, stile diventato ormai quasi tradizionale, e da una preogressiva riduzione del denim (tornato alla ribalta solo recentemente) rimasto sostanzialmente solo in versione skinny. Così, oppressi da super slim fit e tagli skinny onnipresenti, un gruppo di anticonformiste cominciò a indossare capi più larghi e ad adottare uno stile più rialssato.
Ed è così che ora , il ''boyfriend'' jeans è un taglio entrato definitavamente nel Pantheon del denim .
Ed il "tag" boyfriend è stato velocemente adottato da tutti i principali brand di abbigliamento: da River Island a Zara, da Topshop a Dsquared che tag Boyfriend è ora possibile acquistare pantaloni 'boyfriend'' (su misura, con taglio dritto ) , camicie 'boyfriend ''ed anche scarpe, orologi ( con cinturino largo e grande quandrante), giacche e cappotti ''boyfriend ' .
Uno egli elementi fondamentali nel fenomeno ''boyfriend'' sono state le scarpe. Da ginnastica, alla moda o atletiche, o da basket o vecchio stile (come le classiche oxfords), non hanno più un genere specifico, ed anche le calzature da uomo formali ricevono sempre più consensi dal mondo femminile.
Un'altro genere di scarpa maschile che ultimamente brilla come accessorio femminile è (l' abbastanza delicata ma davvero comoda) loafers; particolarmente amati quelli di Penelope Chilvers e Christian Louboutin .
Insomma, la moda sembra essersi definitivamente resa conto che il tag '' boyfriend '' è ben più che un banale scambio di abiti!

One key front in the ''boyfriend'' phenomenon has been shoes. Trainers, whether modern and athletic, or basketball-booty and old fashioned, aren't really gender-specific, but makers of formal footwear are seeing lots of new female customers.
The other shoe-style that shines as a female accessory is the quite-delicate-anyway slipper-shoe, which is doing particularly well for Penelope Chilvers and Christian Louboutin.
Thankfully, fashion appears to be realising that the ''boyfriend'' tag is more than a little corny.
