Mancano circa 45 minuti e mio papà passerà a prenderci per portarci a Orio al Serio, destinazione: Dublino. Sarà una vacanza on the road, io, mio marito e due cari amici. In giro per l'Irlanda, cerate della Decathlon, vento tra i capelli e macchine fotografiche per scattare tutto. E al ritorno prometto un bellissimo reportage enogastronomico: come può un intollerante al lattosio semi-vegetariano sopravvivere alle meraviglie culinarie irlandesi.
Prima però scatto questa istantanea di me, oggi. Sospesa, su un muretto, con una spada in mano.
Il destino potrebbe darmi un'opportunità: sono solo io che devo coglierla.
Speriamo che le vacanze portino consiglio, serenità e voglia di scoprire. Con la certezza che il viaggio più importante è quello che facciamo ogni giorno dentro noi stessi e non i kilometri che ogni giorno percorriamo cercando di raggiungere mete che non esistono, correndo come trottole impazzite.
