L'altro giorno ho scoperto un nuovo show in onda in America: TODDLERS AND TIARAS. E' un reality che mostra il mondo delle competizioni di bellezza per bambini, e quello che ci sta dietro.
The other day I discovered an american tv show : Toddlers and Tiaras. It's a reality that shows the competitive world of child pageants, and what's behind it.










NO VABBEH, è una cosa che non si può capire.
Povere innocenti creaturine rovinate per sempre. Marmocchie che a malapena sanno parlare che si preoccupano di apparire belle e ad esibirsi. Mossette sexy e occhiolini come piovesse.
It's something creepy. Poor innocent creatures whose life it's ruined forever. Little kids who can't even speak, worried about being beautiful and good on stage.Sexy movements and eye winks.

Ma la cosa più agghiacciante sono LE MADRI di queste bambine, gente da rinchiudere. Non posso postare i video perchè i codici su Youtube sono disattivati, ma se cercate il nome del programma vi usciranno video di ogni mamma che presenta la sua bambina. Parlano sempre al plurale :"vogliamo vincere, faremo questo..." riferendosi a bimbe spesso di 2, 3 anni che piangono come ossesse quando vengono spruzzate di autoabbronzante o rispondono NO a domande come: "ti vuoi esibire, cara"?
E la cosa comica è che quasi tutte le madri hanno QUESTO ASPETTO.
But thhe scary thing is THE MOTHERS of these childs. I can't post the videos but if you search on Youtube the program you'll see the videos of each mother introducing her little girl. They always speak for two: "we want to win, we will do this and that...", speaking about girls of 2,3 years old who are often crying when they got the self-tanning and who say NO to questions like "do you wanna go on stage, darling?".
The funny thing is that almost every mother looks like this:

Padri orgogliosi che dichiarano "quando abbiamo scoperto di aspettare una piccola bambina mi sono detto: questo è quello che le faremo fare. E' difficile insegnare coreografie ad una bimba di 3 anni, ma a lei piace un sacco".
Tutti sono convintissimi che le loro figlie ambiscano a questo, indossare parrucche, extension, DENTI FINTI, autoabbronzanti, DEPILAZIONI (7ANNI), tinte per capelli... sono fuori di testa.
Proud fathers say "when we discovered we had a little girl I tought: this is what she will do. It's difficult to teach coreographies to a 3 years old kid, but she likes it a lot".Everybody really seems to believe that their daughters really want to do things like wearing wigs, extensions, fake teeths, self-tanning, hair removal (7 years old)... it's just crazy.
