The 15 June 2012 the organization Meat Free Monday founded by Paul McCartney celebrated its first three years of life: the launch of the campaign in fact had happened at the Inn on The Park in London 15 June 2009. From the start they had signed up to the daughters Stella and Mary McCartney, and numerous celebrities.
Paul McCartney, vegetarian for very many years, through this campaign (“Meatless Monday“) offers a reasonable compromise for those who can not bring himself to give up meat entirely. Remove the meat even one day a week, precisely on Monday, is already a valuable help that anyone can do for our planet. Not everyone knows that the fact’ Industry of’ livestock produces more greenhouse gases in the world ( the real culprits of global warming)throughout the transport sector, of heating, etc.. There is talk of a share of 18% against 13.5%.
The eco designer par excellence Stella McCartney says that the choice of a vegetarian meal one day per week should become easy to adopt an attitude for all, allowing both to help improve our environment in more than one can imagine. It, funny thing, to enforce the pact with her friend Kate Moss, looking for dinner every Monday with her!
