A Sneak Peek of Madonna's New Shoe Collection

Madonna’s new lifestyle brand, Truth or Dare, is about to be on the market this year. After the release of the Truth or Dare fragrance campaign here comes a preview of next product category: shoes! They’re being produced by Aldo, who had never done a footwear license agreement before. The collection will be pretty affordable–and fairly massive. According to Footwear News, there will be over 60 styles including flats, heels and boots, which will range in price from $89 to $349.
Arianne Phillips, Madonna’s longtime stylist (and the costumer for her film W.E.) is the “creative consultant” for the line, which she says is inspired by Madonna’s past footwear choices. “The first thing I did was remind her of all the shoes she wore over the years, and we took the styles that we can’t live without,” she told the paper. You’ll be able to walk in Madge’s shoes this fall, when they’ll reportedly be available at Nordstrom, ASOS, Macy’s and Selfridge’s–who will stage a pop-up shop. Arianne Phillips, da lungo tempo stylist di Madonna (e costumista del film W.E.) è il "consulente creativo" della linea, e come ha dichiarato in un'intervista, è ispirata alle scarpe che Madonna indossò in passato. "La prima cosa che ho fatto è ricordarle tutte le scarpe che ha indossato in questi anni, e abbiamo scelto gli stili di cui proprio non possiamo fare a meno" ha detto al giornale.
