Boho chic: style basics

Dalla primavera del 2005 cominciarono a comparire abiti boho-chic in ogni negozio di Londra e del
Regno Unito  Le prime ragazze a seguire questa moda, furono definite anche anche “Siennas”, in riferimento proprio alla Miller che lanciò e rese famoso questo stile.  
Gli elementi che caratterizzano lo stile boho-chic includono: gonne “svolazzanti” (soprattutto lunghe e bianche), gilet di pelliccia, tuniche ricamate, jeans, blazer, stivali da cowboy, cardigan larghi e “hobo bag” (borsa da vagabondo). Successivamente si sono aggiunti i leggings ed i calzettoni tricot, che improvissamente videro un' impennata delle vendite in Inghilterra
Ma vediamo quali sono gli elementi cardine di questo stile.
1. Lingerie non troppo nascosta: via libera a pizzi lasciati intravedere da top e sottovesti sopra i pantaloni.
2. Capelli non troppo perfetti nella piega ma lucenti e brillanti, illuminati da colpi di luce sempre molto naturali. E' preferibile mantenere il colore naturale qualunque esso sia, e magari dargli movimento con riflessi più chiari.
3. Contrasti a volontà e abbinamenti di colore finto casuali. Ovvero: non è che dobbiate sembrare un tendone del circo, ricordate sempre di bilanciare con attenzione colori e fantasie di ciò che avete addosso, ma è vietato apparire troppo perfettine e precise negli abbinamenti. Basta ad esempio abbinare un jeans con un top prezioso o una maxi gonna in seta con una canotta bianca
4. Sciarpe e bijoux. La sciarpina dall’aria hippy in tessuti naturali o con un filo di lurex non è mai sbagliata. Per quel che riguarda i bijoux abbondate pure preferendo lo stile etnico, le pitre dure, i gioielli fatti a mano o quelli antichi. No ai bijoux minimali e hi tech.
5. Top all'uncinetto: se avete chi può farvelo a mano su misura sarebbe l’ideale, ma in giro o nei mercatini potete comunque trovare proposte interessanti
6. Borse e cinture: per le borse basta che siano grandi, in pelle meglio se color cuoio e dall’aria vissuta. Ne potete trovare di bellissime sia tra le nuove proposte delle vetrine sia nei negozi vintage. Anche per le cinte sarebbe preferibile il cuoio, ma devono essere alte e preferibilmente decorate da borchiette piatte.
7. Stivale da cowboy: con questo stile vanno praticamente con tutto. Ma non è necessario che andiate e cercare i camperos originali, vanno benissimo (anzi in molti casi sono anche meglio) le nuove interpretazioni di questo modello che oggi si trovano un pò ovunque.
8. Abiti sopra i pantaloni: sia sopra i jeans che sopra un normale pantalone, un' abitino svolazzante o ricamato di perline farà una slendida figura.
9: Gonna plissè o a balze: in cotone, seta o denim, mini, medium o lunga, la gonna va portata in modo casual con magliettine e canotte semplici ed accostate al corpo e scarpe rigorosamente basse.
Questo non è proprio uno stile da decolletè, per cui se proprio non volete rinunciare ai tacchi, cercateli a sandalo con tacco grosso o come stivaletto . 
Since the spring of 2005, boho-chic clothes began to show in every store in London and the UK. The first girls that follow this fashion, were also initially defined as "Siennas", in reference to Miller, that made this style so popular.  
Elements of boho-chic style include: "fluttering" skirts (in particular long and white), covered with fur vest, embroidered tunics, cropped jackets, jeans, cowboy boots, baggy cardigans and "hobo bag" (bum bag). Then became elements of boho-chic fashion even leggings and tricoted socks, that in this period saw boosted sales in England.This gypsy style is made of vintage clothing matched with designer pieces.
Here are its focal points:
1. Lingerie not too hidden, then go ahead with a glimpse of lace left to top and jeans and petticoat over pants
2. Hair not too perfect in the styling, but shiny and bright, illuminated by light shades always very natural. Prefer your natural base, whatever it is, heated with light shades.
3. Contrasts at will and color combinations prohibited. That isn't mean that you have to look like a circus tent, the important thing is always to balance the style of what you wear, but you shouldn't look too much "prefect". Jeans with a top or precious silk skirt with a white tank is enough.
4. Scarves and jewelry. The hippie scarf in natural fabrics or with a lurex thread is never wrong. As for many jewelry as well, preferring ethnic style, semi precious stones, handmade jewelry or antique ones. No to minimal jewelery and hi tech one.
5. Crocheted top: if you know someone who can make it for you handmade it's  a good deal, but you can found around or in the markets, still interesting proposals
6. Bag and belt: for bags it's enogh that they are large, preferably in leather and worned. You can find beautiful pieces among the new proposals of the trendy and vintage shops
7. Cowboy boots: whether you wear them with both mini skirt or jeans, they always make their effect. This is not really a style for heels, so if you love them so much, look sandals, boots or wedges never closed.
 8. Dresses over pants: above jeans or pants a flowing dress, embroidered or beaded, look great.
9: pleated skirts: in cotton, silk or denim, a mini, medium or long skirt, worn with casual T-shirts and tank tops close to the body is comfortable and easy to carry.
