-The day with the project Eastpak Artists Studio is started immediately after lunch: me and agroup of other bloggers and some of the designers involved in the project, were invited to attend Maliboom Boom Radio (104.2 in Italy), the first live radio with a showcase in Corso di Porta Ticinese in Milan , to present ourselves and our blogs and especially to emphasize the importance and the charity aid of Eastpak Artist Studio event, of which I had already talked about HERE: a collection of over 150 brand's iconic backpacks, customized and revisited by emerging designers from all over Europe. From March 19 all the backpacks will be put up for auction in the website http://artiststudio.eastpak.com/ with the aim of raising funds for the non-profit organization Designers Against AIDS for years mixed up in raising money and in spreading awareness for this disease that today, even if forgotten by the mass media, is by no means a solved problem,especially among young people.

A seguire ci siamo diretti tutti quanti allo Showroom di Probeat Agency, agenzia organizzatrice dell'evento Eastpak Artist Studio per la città di Milano e qui, con una merenda rifocillante, abbiamo scoperto tutte le collezioni dei marchi presenti in agenzia oltre ad Eastpak (ma ve ne parlerò meglio e con calma in altri post prossimamente), in attesa di dirigerci verso XL Combines, la location dell'evento per potere vedere finalmente dal vivo tutti gli zaini e dedicarci allo shooting fotografico.-Afterwards we headed to Probeat Agency Showroom , (the agency that organized the Eastpak Artist Studio event in Milan): here, with a hearty snack, we have discovered all the collections of the agency's brands in addittion to Eastpak (but I'll talk more quietly about that in some other posts soon), waiting to move towards XL Combines, the location of the event, to finally see "live" all the backpacks and dedicate ourselves to the photo shooting.Quando finalmente siamo arrivati alla galleria XL Combines lo spettacolo era magnifico, gli arredi già creativi della galleria erano il contorno perfetto per gli zaini di Eastpak Artist Studio: un'esplosione di colori, materiali, fantasia, provocazioni, messaggi. Inutile dire che ho scattato fotografie come una matta (trovate tutto l'album su Facebook QUI), mentre aspettavo il mio turno per lo shooting fotografico. Ecco, lo shooting, voi sapete quanto io sia diffidente quando si tratta di "mettermi" in mostra in prima persona, in questo caso l'ho fatto molto volentieri (anche se con un po' di apprensione) per la giusta causa e per cercare di portare a mia volta un messaggio, e come me l'hanno fatto gli altri 10 blogger presenti (scopriteli tutti nella Fb page di Eastpak Italia QUI).Per posare ho scelto lo zaino customizzato da Dzia Art (Belgio), un Eastpak trasformato nell'iconico coniglietto di Playboy, destrutturato e "mutilato". Proprio da questo simbolo dell'occidente mercificatore mi è venuta voglia di posare come un'altra tipologia di donna: una donna nascosta e velata quasi, e qui l'allusione la potrete cogliere da soli (grazie al preziosissimo aiuto dello stylist Roberto Mambretti, fashion coordinator per il blog Dot Girl di Bimbi Distefano). Il risultato di queste foto è stato stupefacente: mi piacciono moltissimo e credo di essere riuscita a trasmettere il contrasto che desideravo far emergere, non posso che ringraziare di cuore il fotografo Angelo Ferrillo e tutto lo staff della Probeat Agency.-When we finally arrived at XL Combines Gallery the show was magnificent, creative furnishings already in the gallery were the perfect side for Eastpak backpacks: an explosion of colors, materials, fantasies, provocations, messages. Needless to say that I took pictures crazyly (found the complete album on Facebook HERE), while I was waiting my turn for the photo shoot. Here, the shooting: you know how I am suspicious when it comes to "put" myself on show, in this case I did very willingly for the good cause and to try to bring a message, and like me all the other 10 bloggers present at the event (discover them all in Italy Eastpak Fb Page HERE).I chose the backpack customized by Dzia Art (Belgium), an Eastpak transformed in the iconic "Playboy bunny", deconstructed and "mutilated". It is from this symbol of the commodified Westof the World that I wanted to pose myself as another kind of woman: a woman almost hidden and veiled, and here you can catch yoursekf the allusion I want to communicate (thanks to the invaluable help of the stylist Roberto Mambretti, fashion coordinator for the blog Dot Girl by Bimbi Distefano). The result of these photos was amazing: I really like them and I think I managed to convey the contrast that I want to bring out. I can only thank the photographer Angelo Ferrillo and all the staff of the Probeat Agency.
