Il Real Madrid FC si conferma in testa alla speciale classifica ''The World's 50 Most Valuable Sports Teams 2014'' della rivista americana Forbes, con 3,44 miliardi di dollariè la società sportiva di maggior valore al mondo precedendo la rivale Barcelona FC a 3,2 miliardi e il Manchester United FC al terzo posto con 2,81 miliardi.
Altri club di calcio presenti nella graduatoria che raccoglie le realtà sportive più grandi del mondo, il Bayern al settimo posto(1,85 miliardi), l'Arsenal al 16°(1,331 miliardi), Chelsea FC al 48°(867 milioni), Manchester City 49°(863 milioni) e l'unica italiana il Milan chiude al 50° posto(856 milioni).
