Per la campagna globale del brand G-Star, il marchio in collaborazione con Vice Magazine hanno realizzato"Hidden New York", che rappresenta un breve documentario condotto dalla giornalista Kim Taylor-Bennet ed ha come intento quello di creare una vera e propria guida alla nightlife newyorkese, attraverso gli occhi di chi lavora nel settore della moda. In particolare, protagonisti del documentario sono: la celebre door girl Lyz Olko, la stylist Annette Lamothe Ramos, il fotografo John Swain, la giornalista Karley Sciortino, e la DJ e icona di stile Becka Diamond.La giornalista ha parlato con ciascuno di loro, i quali hanno dato qualche consiglio su quelli che sono i locali alla moda di New York da non perdere. Lyz le ha consigliato di fare un salto al Jane Hotel , e ai bar/ristoranti Bacaro e Little Frankie's .Annette Lamothe Ramos, fashion editor di VICE, nonché top stylist in città, che insieme al fotografo cult John Swain organizza una delle clubnight più famose della città: "All Babes Everything”, al Jane Hotel, hanno invece consigliato di provare: il Williamsburg Party Bus e lo Spotted Pig, il ristorante di Ken Freidman. Karley Sciortino è una giornalista arrivata alla fama internazionale grazie sia al suo blog, da cui ha recentemente pubblicato un libro, che alle sue collaborazioni fisse con riviste come Dazed and Confused, Vice, Interview e Sup Magazine .
