Girlfriend's new hairstyle and The Global Rainbow

Today The Boyfriend has treated The Italian Girlfriend to a brand new hair-style. And she hasn't been so happy with her hair in ages. She just can't figure out WHY on earth she's never had a fringe before.Life just doesn't look the same boring old life through a fringe!!Oggi Il Boyfriend ha viziato un po' la sua Italian Girlfriend, concedendole uno hair-style nuovo di zecca. Ed erano secoli che lei non si sentiva cosi' felice dei suo capelli. Continua a chiedersi perche' cavolo non abbia mai avuto una frangia prima d'ora.La vita non e' sempre la stessa minestra noiosa attraverso una frangia!!

The Italian Girlfriend is very self-critical. In other words, she's always struggled to like herself.Over the past couple of years though, maybe because she's getting old or maybe because she has The Boyfriend in her life too, she's giving herself some rest. Not that she's happy with the way she looks, mind you, but she has just come to the quite lame and obvious conclusion that if she's not up to top model's standards it's not the end of the world after all. On the opposite, the world can be pretty enjoyable if you don't stress over pointless stuff, did you know that?And now off to see the Global Rainbow, as The Boyfriend can't wait to take more pictures of it and he well deserves his treat too. In altri termini, ha sempre fatto fatica a piacersi.Nel corso degli ultimi due anni pero', forse perche' sta invecchiando o forse ora c'e' Il Boyfriend nella sua vita, ha deciso didarsi un po' di pace.Non che sia felice di come appare, per carita', ma almeno e' giunta alla conclusione piuttosto banale e un po' scontata che se anche non soddisfa i suoi criteri da passerella d'alta moda, il mondo non finisce. Anzi, al contrario.
